Marriage & Divorce - 21 June 2007

My ex- boyfriend and I were never married. My son is now 2 years old and my ex and I have been apart for a year and a half now. We have never been to court and never established the custodial parent; however, I allowed my son and him to have visitation on his time but with me there. He has never had our son alone in all of 2 years and has never seen him for over 5 hours at a time. Now we are goin to court but no finalization has been done. Question is.. Can he take my son legally and keep him until finalization is done or would it be considered kid-napping since he has never had him alone. Please help very urgent!!

on his days off. and constantly tells me he's just waiting for me to invite him 'back home'. i have been open about the fact that i like being by myself. though the seperation is only 2 weeks along, i know him coming back is not what i want. at this point, i am wanting to file simply because i feel such a weight off of my shoulders (we fought a LOT and bad...and it has definitely mellowed out since seperating.) is it too soon to know? and how do i break the final news to him, with him wanting so much more than me?

OK, so my wife quit her perfectly good job because she said her boss was an ***. Now we are late on all our bills. Everytime I come home she is sitting down and the apartment if filthy. Laundry hasn't been done, dishes are piling up. She says shes looking for a job but hasn't done anything. It angers me so much to know that she just sits at home and lives off my hard work. We have no kids, so she absolutley does nothing all day. She sleeps untill 1 or 2pm every day and WILL NOT go out and get a job. Everytime I ask her about it she gets all defensive and complains about how hard it is to get a job around here, but in all reality, she hasn't been trying. Is she just using me for my money or is she just plain lazy?

ok well its been 3 years that i've been seeing this married guy, we see each other when either one of us wants to etc..etc.. There will be times when we will last MONTHS without seeing each other, and times where we will spend months seeing each other as well. I have come to learn that its just sex between us but what confuses me is his behavior.. Yes he's married, but he doesn't act married.. We call each other up to go party, he even picks me up from my apartment.. he calls me from his cell and home phone.. he doesnt mind going out in public and showing affection.. is he trying to gt caught????

I have been married 4 yrs and seperated for 2 of those 4 yrs.I married my college sweet heart unaware her had problems with porn.It caused issues in our sex life because he was watching everyday , he was having trouble lasting more than 5- 10 min's while in bed with me and this was very unpleasurable for me.Also this was very different from the sex life we enjoyed prior to marriage.I asked him to tone it down a bit that made things worse causing fights.I got pregnant and while checking up on my parents house experienced pain tried calling home 7 times no answer had to call 911.I lost the baby and it took hospital an hour to get him on phone.He lied said he was sleeping but was in fact watching porn as i found out when i checked commputer history.Hubby wants to try again after 2 yrs but i think i want a divorce.I was fine these last 2 yrs till he called to say he wanted to try again.Now i wonder what i did wrong?I was always open to him sexually and trying new things.So why?

After a long day of work and her having a long day of taking care of the kids. She is not in the mood to often. Saying she is tired, wants to sleep etc...Can anyone give me some pointers here?

She does not like sex in the morning, or in the middle of the night either. I have been taking care of myslef so to speak, but that is not sexual cotnact with a person, although self love can be very good...

My husband of 4 years doesn't want to sleep with me. We didn't have the greatest sex life while dating, he claimed to be "uncomfortable" because we were not married. Silly me thought once we were married he would feel more comfortable. The first few years he acted like I was the nympho who just wanted it too much.....He was happy with once a month, I was only asking for his attention once a week. After a year of counceling he agreed maybe something wasn't right and now he just says he doens't know whats wrong with him. I can't live the rest of my life feeling undesired. Do I stay married?

My husband was divorced when I met him. His x is a total witch. She kicked him out, they have 2 daughters, and now we have one together. She is ALWAYS trying to stir the pot and cause trouble, and just behaves nasty at all times. I take excellent loving care of their girls when they are here, and my husband is an examplary husband. But that doesn't stop her from constantly leaving him nasty stupid messages wich are totally off base and usually 100% untrue. Always accusing him of not being a good dad..... blah blah blah. How do we deal with this jealous petty vindictive witch? I just don't want her crap to affect me, I want to be a 'duck' and let it roll off my back. But easier said than done.

I'm a single mother of 2 who has been forced to live with my mother in law for over 5 years. My marriage of 7 years will be finalized soon. My M-i-law has decided to pay for the ex's lawyers because they dont' want me to move out of town with the kids. No custody agreement has been delt with as of yet. I have no money for lawyers, and legal aid will not help me. I fear that through her monetary influence I will lose my kids. Any advice? I know she has no claim on the kids, but the ex is her puppet and will give them up to her if he wins custody.

we have a 10 month old daughter and i gained about 20 lbs that i have not lost i am 160 lbs and fairly attractive still i believe. When he said he was leaving he stayed the nite and we had great sex and that was 2 weeks ago. He also said that a break is not enough and that only time will tell if we end up together I think this might have something to do with the fact that he is 22 and likes drinking and hanging out with his friends and i wantw=ed a family, i was controlling when it came to alcholical and drugs, and told him that if he was going somewhere that he could take his daughter to i would not mind if he had his space. but when he said he was going out for a couple of drinks he would not be home till 5 am. he is a volunteer fireman, but rather go on a call instead of spend time with the family. i sometimes can understand as the kids can be challenging, always yelling, screaming and fighting, yet i'm stuck with it all! i am always home doing laundry, cooking cleaning and kids while he can go out and play mr .fire fighter rescue hero! what can i do? even today i wanted to pick up the kids from school and he was like "ooo i have a call he rather go to the call . i make plans for the family and yet he says "i have other things to do at the fire hall." am i wrong to say to stop the fire fighting for awhile to spend time with the family>?

We have four children, three are adults. I do not believe in divorce. My spouse and I do not have a very good relationship. We have not been sexually active for a few years. A co worker has shown interest in me. At first I said no because I am married. He was very sweet and backed right off. But now I can't seem to think about anything else. My fiance has been hiding porn movies & magazines from me. I confronted him again just recently and he made me believe he threw them out. I actually found them he hid them in a different spot! we just got engaged this year and now I feel betrayed and hurt..confused! I thanked him for throwing them away as he held my hand and said not a problem babe.so i thought they were gone and i found them again. I dont know if Ishould just break off this engagement as I cant deal with my man hiding something like this. He has stopped during sex and asked to put a movie in so of course I say yes and didnt really want to but didnt want to start an arguement. He use to have sex with me often and its now maybe 1x a week or 2wks or 3wks sometimes so I feel he would rather have that than me.

Hi everyone. I'm male, just turned 24 this past monday and I have always aimed at getting married at 27. I find myself in a situation just right now as I realyzed I will have 3 years to find the right one. (this is only an idea that pased by my head by the way) how do yo u know that the person you are right now is the perfect one to get married? I think I am somewhat attractive, I have a good job, have a degree under my belt and studying to be an engineer. I have a girlfriend and she has been awesome with me for the past six months, but I don't see myself married with her. Finding a girl friend is not hard really, but finding the right one...
