Okay, I don't like my job. I really don't like it. I hate it, actually. I want to quit and take a job making $5 less per hour until I can find a job I like. I am married. My husband and I are agressively paying off our house. If I take the less paying job-remember, this is only until I find something else or my business takes off-we can still pay all of our bills, but we will have to stop agressively paying off our house. The job I am at currently is stressing me out a lot and I really don't like it at all. I have been there 3 years. Am I selfish to quit?

We've seen the HBO series, "Big Love", Mormons have been doing this since the 1800's, and some middle eastern cultures have been practicing polygamy since the beginning of time? Gay marriage has been coming up as a question lately. I think that a man will be able to legally and openly live with three wives real soon.

All we need to do is teach the ignorant! :) Peace my brothers :)

I don't feel any need to destroy baptismal records but what is angering me more and more is saying prayers and not being answered. My wife divorced me and I feel Christianity is a fat waste because it has no teeth when it comes to reconciling a couple in disagreement. I looked at the Muslims and I think the Christians need to model after them: I do not feel any judge or magistrate should have the right to break what was sanctified. I feel that the only way a wife can get a divorce is by permission of her husband. Otherwise if the two of them have a disagreement it is OK to be separated until they can come together again in peace. But divorce should be completely removed from the power of any government entity. No you can't force anyone to love you but no one forced them to take those vows. So those vows need to be just as binding as the military inductance ceremony.

my friend is curently in love with her boyfriend, but she pretty knows that this man cant marry her bcoz of their culture differences, if he marries her, his brothers and family will suffer since inter racial marriage is not yet open to them, marrying her would lead to repudiation of marriage proposal to his brothers and down to his generations, but the guy loves her so much, however this girl's ex bf is still contacting her and sending sms, her ex is a very close friend of her. Now the guy is telling her that he still loves her so much and that he is willing to marry her.
I know that this guy truly loves her. I asks her who she really loves, and she answered that she loves her bf.
If you were in her case, who would you choose? Would she wait until her current bf can stand for her or would she choose her ex who is ready to marry her and willing to move heaven and earth for her.

and we were informed she is screwing around with a co-worker. Her father and I feel that we need to confront her in front of the other guy, to find out if it is a rumor or the actual truth. If it is, we feel she is not ready for marriage and it would be pointless to continue with the ceremony. We have invested a lot of money with this. So, because I value a lot of opinons from some of you. What would you do. Finacially back out. Or because most of it is paid let her marry inspite of our feelings of disgust. We love her intended like a son. And feel he should be clued in tomarrow. And the wedding called off. So, let's hear it. What do you recommend?

Despite his complete disregard for my daughter's future, he does seem to be genuinely interested in his 1month old baby girl. I am finding it hard to remain cordial with him when he comes over to my house( my daughter and her baby have moved in with my wife and I for now) to visit his daughter. He has offered to "give" my daughter $XX.XX a month for child support. My wife and I feel this amount is woefully unrealistic. For the sake of our grand-daughter's future well being we have decided to hire legal council. We feel that by putting the custody, paternity and child-support in legal order now, all 3 of them(my daughter, my grand daughter and the father) will be better served in the long run. I doubt that he will look at it that way however. I fear that as soon as he gets served with our lawyers demands, him and his parents will counter our demands with ridiculous demands of their own for the purpose of hoping that we exhaust our funds. Being in the military he gets free legal support

I have been married for 2 yrs now, when my husband and I were dating he was very passionate but as soon as we got married it stopped! he is 24 and I am 22 I dont think its normal for us to be so distant, sometimes I've even thought about cheating.... but I cant do that because I love him. He never gives me an answer.. he gets mad or just says he is tired.... I cant stand being rejected anymore! What could be wrong!

so read my question....what's the answer for that? isnt that sad? is everyone guaranteed to be able to find one's soulmate??

I am 25 & I have a co-worker is 43 that I have been friends with for 3 years. He went through a really tough divorce about 10 years ago, and ever since then he stopped trusting women. After they got married, he put her through nursing school and then cheated on him and sent the kids to him. Anyways he has seen numerous psychologists but he says they dont help. Soon after we became friends, he devloped a little crush. I have told him numerous times that I dont feel the same way. He drinks to help with his pain and then he calls me up and tells me how great I am and how madly in love he is with me. (He was in the Air Force for 6+ years and he started drinking a lot at a young age) Anyways, I have begged him to get help and he wont. I have told him that if he makes me uncomfortable I wont talk to him, but this crap has been going on for 2 years!! He has a 22 yr old son and I have even told him I had a crush on his son so he would stop!! I really want to be friends but how can I?

I have been married over 25 years. I was always barefoot and pregnant. We had 6 kids. I lost myself even before I was married. I always felt that if I pleased him I was loved and happy. Well I really never could please him, my children could not please him. He was controlling and always putting me and the children down. At times he could be nice and loveable and we did have some good times but I was always alone because he never really wanted to be with me unless we were in bed and I was pleasing him. He cheeted on me, I tried to devorce him but the children were small and I had a new baby and his family ganged up with him and threatned to take my children and prove me an unfit mother. Even though sounded impossible as he was the abuser if there was one. I got scared. We have made it through graduations and I only have one at home age 12 left. We only see each other once or twice per month as he drives truck now.

And the people here keep answering them which is encouring them to continuing asking teen questions.

If a guy has been divorced before, women do you see it as a bad thing. Will you hold against him and not give him the time of day or does it not matter at all and you are willing to give a guy a chance no matter what his past is.

We have a debit card (my husband can buy any thing he likes with it), and I spend hours making nice things for my his lunch, but he still insists on having cash in his pocket and gets very nasty when he doesn't. He has even went so far as to ask his employer to pay for some of his work in cash, even though he knows it will hurt us in the winter when he is layed off (he is a truck driver). Is this normal?

or drop out of the picture. After 30 years it is hard to know if it is better for everyone to lose contact in order to remove awkwardness about conflicted loyalties, reminders of the divorce, allow the divorced spouse the refuge of no past baggage within the familly, or to continue to reach out to people who have been close for so long, when perhaps it is better not to. What do others think?
