He doesn't want a relationship and I do but we hang out sometimes. Does it mean he's keeping his distance so I don't get attached or is he being a jerk?

Both. But while you're wasting your time hanging out with him, you're missing the opportunity to be with someone who does want a relationship. Maybe if you don't spend so much time with him, he'll realize it too.

He is keeping his distance because he doesn't WANT a realationship, take the HINT. YOU are the one being a jerk by expecting more after he has already told you he doen't WANT more, just how dense are you?

He's only going to be a jerk if you allow it. You are more than likely sleeping with him and he's taking advantage of that. If I were you I would forget about this guy and move on. Why should you sell yourself so short. He's obviously just using you for sex so I'd move on.

Just what he has said..he doesn't want a relationship right now. He isn't ready for a long term commitment. Move on and find someone who will and can love you the way you would like for them to do. Don't waste time on someone who isn't on the same level your on.

i think he's keeping his distance because he doesn't went you to get attach to him at all because he doesn't went a relationship at all.it sounds like he just wants to be your friend and nothing else.but there's nothing wrong with hang out with a guy as a friend. if you want a relationship with him i think you should just move on because he doesn't want one with you. sorry.

The only way to know what he is thinking is by asking him. Only he know the answer to that one. We spend so much time running so many scenarios of what our partner is thinking. That is time wasted when all we have to do is be open and ask.
