My friend who is over sixty has been divorced for five years,she still shares family home with ex .They have seprt facilities and areas.She now has a very caring man wont wants her to be with him. but she cannot move on because she has pity for the old man,who is now in his late 70s and will be on his own if she leaves .She wants our help but we're out of ideas .Help!!!!!!!!!!

There must be some underlying reason why she is divorced from him, but staying with him. She obviously still cares about him.
If she wants to be with someone else, she will have to make that jump cold turkey, or else she will be in an unhappy relationship due to ties that should have been broken a while back.

Well it depends if she there because she love him or by habit. Sometimes we stay fear of being alone and nothing else working out or hurting someone feelings. Look life is short you got to be happy. If being with someone else makes her happy its best to do it instead of later kicking yourself in the but!!!!!

Its hard to move out on someone. I would probly go move out and then come back every once in a while and check up on him!
