my friend is curently in love with her boyfriend, but she pretty knows that this man cant marry her bcoz of their culture differences, if he marries her, his brothers and family will suffer since inter racial marriage is not yet open to them, marrying her would lead to repudiation of marriage proposal to his brothers and down to his generations, but the guy loves her so much, however this girl's ex bf is still contacting her and sending sms, her ex is a very close friend of her. Now the guy is telling her that he still loves her so much and that he is willing to marry her.
I know that this guy truly loves her. I asks her who she really loves, and she answered that she loves her bf.
If you were in her case, who would you choose? Would she wait until her current bf can stand for her or would she choose her ex who is ready to marry her and willing to move heaven and earth for her.

I will chose bf. She should go with her true love. If she really loves her bf, even though his family disagree, she should be with her true love. She is the one get married, not his or her family. If I am in love with somebody, I will be with my true love even though all family or relatives would be my enemy. If her bf does not stand up for her, then that is it. He does not worth for her.

Choose the ex. The current bf sounds like he's not ready to get his act together and just marry her / let her go. The ex is a much better idea.

Well, wow, very difficult question. But there is a key word in this situation that jumped out at me. The word "ex". Her ex is is just that. There is a reason that the "ex" got put in front of boyfriend. Maybe your friend and her ex should work on that.

I believe she should choose the man she truely loves, b/c if she chooses one out of convenience to marry right now and that is not where her heart is, she will live a miserable life and have a marriage that is not truely loving. She should follow her heart.

she should follow her heart. There is no such thing as cultural differences, in love, everything is the same, if the boyfriend loves her , then he too should follow what his heart desires. that is a huge risk, but there things that one decides that can also bring down the house, but hey, so what, i can be re-bulit and maybe its for the best.
