To tell you the truth it's not surprising it seems like parents want to rely on other people to police there children instead of doing it themselves. The ones that come to M&D do so probably because they can't get the information they need from there parents. Then they wonder why there are so many juvenile crimes. There parents either don't care or don't want to make the time.

this is not to offend anyone, there are kids that ask silly questions but keep in mind that to them its a intelligent question as they do not have the live experience as we the old people. they have a problem or question that they need a adults view on as they might be the parent in the house as all of all of us know not everyone has a happy home. If you read the questions then why bother opening the question that sounds silly, pick another one and move on. As for the fact that adults asks "adult" questions we must keep in mind that the kids also get some info from our questions and answers and they might actually learn from our mistakes.

Good question, I totally agree with you, I wish I had the answer, I just keep wondering.
Just like you, I would think and then tell myself that they are ignorant, what else to think or say? You tell me?
Well! People answer because all they are looking is for points, they don't care who or what etc
Does that answer your question? am I getting the message across?
Yes! I like answering questions, but I pick which I one is the one that really needs help, I don't reply to junky questions and waste my time and my dignity.
I'm sorry, that's the way I am, no offense to anyone.

You are right.Blame the stupid parents who SHOULD be answering these questions. The thing is I tell them what they NEED to hear, not what they WANT to hear. I give them a mature adult answer, not a teen answer.

I certainly agree with your sentiment. There are some aspects of Y!A that are more adult. These areas should require an adult profile to contribute (perhaps to read the section as well?)

"Why are KIDS coming to "marriage and divorce" to ask silly questions..?" Because school is out and what does it matter to you who comes here to ask questions? Are you the message board police?

Perhaps they could create a teen cat and list question groups for them. answers for them by them that kind of deal. i wouldn't be so overly harsh. They just want opinions to make smart choices. :)
I'll tell you the same thing I told a teenager. RELAX! BREATHE!
