I just found out that my 30 year old daughter got married. She had her step father walk her down the aisle. Of course I am very angry and hurt. This is very big blow to my own self esteen and self worth as a father and as a human being. The main reason for this behavior can be contributed to her mother. I have been divorced for over 24 years and her mother still controls her children and is still as hatefull as she was when we divorced.
My question is how do I overcome this resentment that I now have against my 30 year old daugher? Should I let it go if not what ways do you recommend that I use to overcome my hurt feelings and continue resentment that I now have against my daughter.

Thank You
James Smith

My BF of 2 years and I have just got back together after a break. We've reconciled and its back to how it was when we first met. We are madly in love with each other and going back on dates and enjoying each others company. However, the topic of 'the future' where do we go from here, has arisen. He can promise me that he wants to buy a house with me, have children together and spend a future together... but theres no talk about marriage. I know I need to bring it up if its something I would like in the future... but do I really need to worry about marriage if all the other committment is there. Asking myself honestly I would like a wedding to show the world how much we love each other and to make it a special milestone in our lives... is it worth being patient and or talking to him about it in the hope that he will want the same thing eventually - or should he know by now ?

Bad divorce 2002 that only ex wanted. She turned children against me with her mum and step father. If I had done that I would have been villified but its okay for a woman to treat a man like that. Solicitors say they can't do anything,so does Lord Chancellor and barrister. My MP says I am unusual wanting to care for my kids when his experience is that all men walk away from their children. I wrote to President Blair who did not want to know but passed me from one department to another and still no one could or would help. Women fought for centuries for equality and rightly so. Why will women not give men equality with our children when we are divorced. They are our children too. She got house, contents, my personal property, photographs, videos of children and will not even give me copies. She lied on oath to get the divorce. If women want equality surely they should give us equality and when we divorce we should share them. Before you ask YES I HAVE ALWAYS PAID CHILD SUPPORT FOR THEM

The problem is that I like to have sex at least four to five times a week. And my husband doesn't.I am really worried because we have been married for two years know and we are really young.I have 19 and he is 21.We have a 6 month baby but I don't think that matters or does it.And another thing he is not working right now so I don't think he is tired. And I am sure he is not cheating because he is always at home and when I go study for one hour and half he stays with the baby.I dont know what to think.Maybe he doesn't love me anymore, but I ask him and he says he loves me.Please help.Any advise, comments.

A young doctor had moved to a small community to replace a doctor who was retiring. The older gent suggested the young one accompany him on his rounds so the community could become used to a new doctor.

At the first house, a woman complained, "I've been a little sick to my stomach."

The older doctor said, "Well, you've probably been overdoing the fresh fruit. Why not cut back on the amount you've been eating and see if that does the trick?"

As they left, the younger man said, "You didn't even examine that woman. How'd you come to your diagnosis so quickly?"

"I didn't have to. You noticed I dropped my stethoscope on the floor in there? When I bent over to pick it up, I noticed a half dozen banana peels in the trash. That was what was probably making her sick."

"Huh," the younger doctor said, "Pretty sneaky. I think I'll try that at the next house."

Arriving at the next house, they spent several minutes talking with an elderly woman. She complained that she just didn't have the energy she once did.

"I'm feeling terribly run down lately," she said.

"You've probably been doing too much work for the church," the younger doctor told her. "Perhaps you should cut back a bit and see if that helps."

As they left, the elder doctor said, "Your diagnosis is almost certainly correct, but how did you arrive at it?"

"Well, just like you, at the last house, I dropped my stethoscope. When I bent down to retrieve it, I noticed the preacher under the bed."

I wanted to take time and enjoy every moment with him. But this guy want to have sex with me if we click tomorrow. I told him that I still married and I can' tbe pregnant. But he kept saying that he want me to think about him and focus on him. So he wanted to have sex and he wanted a baby to keep me on his side. This man said he loved me 1yr ago,i rejected him because i didn't want to have an affair with a married man. Although i really liked him. 2 weeks later he told his wife he was in love with me and 1 month after moved out. They married because she was pregnant,he was very young and didn't know himself. They don't have conversations, connection, or sex (sometimes not once in a year) We started an amazing relationship, we are highly compatible, chemistry, telephathy, attraction and also truly enjoy each other's presence.I believe we are soulmates. They were talking abut divorce, when 4 months after he moved back with his family. He says he loves me, but loves his kids too. Many times, i have ended it, and gone away. But he always comes back, and say he can't live without me. He makes promises to me for the future. His wife knows he's in love with me, and he threatens her to live her, but doesn't.It's been 6 months.
This is consuming all my energy, sucking life out of me what should i do. Help

If you are in love with some one, can that ever really go away? Anyone who has gotten divorced, do you really, honestly, in your heart hate your ex spouse. The one who you promised to share your life with?

Okay my fiance left me 2 weeks ago for a 19 year old coworker I am 22 he is 24. His parents were very supportive of me or so I thought. They said his new girl is not allowed near their house and they didn't want her around my kids. i totally agree it is way too soon, well they invited me over for thanksgiving dinner. But today my ex told me that his new girl will be there because his dad invited her after inviting me and telling me that she was not allowed there. Should I let my kids go? I am very very upset about this and the kids have other places that we can have dinner at. what should I do?

everytime I ask a question ab. something that's obviously bothering me, they say it will all work out. but the fact is you don't really know. you can see and determine where your career is going to go but not whether you will find your special Somone. (just to give an example)

I love being realistic; i guess it hurts less when you get accustomed to what's really going on. Everyone has their own fate & unfortun. it doesn't always work out.
