I came home from work the other day and found that my husband of five years had purchased a Norelco Body Groom for men out of the blue, without saying anything to me. At the time, he said he purchased it for me (he likes to shave me...down there). So, I didn't think too much about it. But then today, I came home from work and he had used it to shave himself!

Now it doesn't bother me so much that he did it. But just the fact that it came so completely out of the blue. I have always known he has a bit more of a wild streak in him than I do. But he has never done anything like that before or even said anything about it to me.

Do I need to be concerned? What do you think?

Every Thanksgiving I cook dinner and have over my family and then we, my husband of 1 year go to his parents for dessert. This year I am having an extended family member for dinner and feel its rude to leave them behind to have dessert with my husbands family. He says its only fair that I go with him since he has to eat with my family. Please help, I'm not sure how to handle this!

Does changing your name back to your maiden name help you move on? I was going to continue using my ex's name as it is my son's name and everything that I have achieved (education and career) has been under that name. But, after the way my ex treated me before (adultery) and after (nasty if things do not go his way) the divorce, I do not want the name anymore. I respect his family but not him. Will changing my name help me start over?

My wife frequently gets irritated with me because I baby our dog, and says I'm sweeter to the dog than her. She loves the dog too, but I give her much more attention than my wife does.
The dog is happy to see me when I walk through the door everyday no matter what's going on - even when I'm in a lousy mood. She (dog) doesn't get defensive, she just wants to play and get some love (don't be sick with that one). Not so much with my spouse - most days it's a semi-b!+ch session about her day that greets me. So yeah, some days it is nicer to come home to the dog who does not really want anything from me than the rest of the family who attack me with request (kids are guilty too, asking for allowance or french fries etc). I've explained this to my wife as nicely as I can muster (OK somewhat sarcastically) but just get the stare. I've also tried being as sweet to everybody else as I am to the dog when I walk through the door, but the responses to me haven't changed. Pretty common?

My husband is 41 been married 19 years. Have one daughter 16. 3 months ago he left to live on his own. I found out he was cheating, but we had problems before I found out. When he left he said he needed time to think, to be on his own, marriage was stifling and he was not the marrying kind. These days he comes home every weekend and alternates between saying that he lives away because its convenient for work, and that he needs his space. He tells me about plans to decorate our house etc but also that he needs to be on his own because he doesnt want to consider anyone before making decisions. He rings every night . We have had 2 holidays together since the split and when he comes home at weekends he does chores without being asked, takes me out and we sleep together. It all sounds good, except that he suddenly changes and becomes distant. He says he does not want anyone permanent in his life, wants to stay married to me as I am the best wife doesnt need another? I don't know what to do.

I'm married, but usually pretty miserable. My friend is a beautiful young woman who is tired of waiting for the perfect guy and just plans on getting laid whenever she feels like it. At first i assumed the promiscuity would make her sad, but now i envy her. I wish i had that kind of freedom. she should probably enjoy it while she can. what does the group think?

I have told him numerous times that I don't love him and there will NEVER be anything between us again ever-and he even knows I'm dating and I''ve moved on-but he won't let go. We have a 3 year old daughter together, so I do have to maintain some contact with him due to our parenting agreement. He sends me text messages daily about how much he regrets that he took me for granted, how he misses me, loves me, etc..I don't respond and most of the time I screen my calls-especially when I know he has gotten his daily ph call to my daughter in. And now I have a boyfriend-who is letting me handle this-but the constant phone calls and texts are getting out of hand: he is purposely doing it to disrupt my life. What else can I say or to do to get through to him that I don't want him and he needs to find someone that does??!!!

I have been married for 8 years and have three kids. I started seeing another women about six months ago. Around two months ago she made one of my all time fantasy's come true. Her and her roomate had a threesome with me as a birthday present for me. Well fast forward. My girlfriend just told me that her friend that did the threesome with us is prego with my baby. Aparently I am the only one she has been that fits into the time frame. I am freaking out. I can't tell my wife. Her Uncle is my boss. I make alot of money and if this comes out I am ruined. I called the gal and I have offered to pay for an abortion but the gal said no way. I told her I would give her $5,000 upfront plus $700 a month for the kid( anymore and I won't be able to hide it). She said she wants me to play a roll in his life. I am not sure that's possible. Plus I don't want any documentation that says I am the daddy. I know I shouldn't have got in this mess in the first place but I did so now what?

She says it relaxes her and is a good reason not to take expensive anti-depressant drugs, which dull her senses. I'm worried too about our young daughter, who someday will surely discover her mom's habit.

I have tried to tell her that I would like her to make an effort to spending more time with me. But it seems like the more I try to tell her or get mad or try to get her attention she pushes me further away or only agrees to spend time with me like so she won't have to hear it. I don't feel she is sincere anymore in spending time together. She has a very busy job and I told her I understand. She made some excuse that this is her job and she is not used to having to share her time with someone else whatever that's supposed to mean. I'm not trying to pressure her but she never acted like this earlier in the relationship. Now I am worried that I will have to fight an uphill battle the rest of my life. She says that she noticed that I haven't been happy lately but not with much emotion just more of a cold distant factual statement. She told me that if I'm not happy then I neeed to make a choice. I don't know what to do.

Example this morning while discussing a situation he said, "Something is wrong with you!" Then three to five minutes later when I mentioned what he had said, he acted as though I should be in the looney bin and denied completely that he had said that. Could not figure out where I got the idea that he said that.
He picked up the children yesterday from school. My ten year old had made me something at school that he was going to give me for Christmas. After we all sat down in the family room, the husband then said you should see what he made you today. My son was waving his arms begging his dad not to tell me, but he told me anyway and my son was brokenhearted . Then he acts as though it is my son's fault because he should have speifically told him not to tell while they were in the car. Then he had the gall to sit there and say that our son never waved his arms begging him not to tell.
The scary part is that he believes himself. Opinions??

I am enrolled in 15 hours of graduate school and I work 20 hours a week. He is going to class as well 3 nights a week and works as a reserve police officer, and 1 or 2 days a week at another job. We are both tired, but I need him to help me around the house. Every time I ask him to do something he gets upset, and explains how tired he is and how he doesn't get any free time.

Does anyone in here ever had an ex that will run to every friend that you make of the opposite sex and then tell them of all the horrible things that you did and then take them as their own friends and leave you out in the cold. Does your ex blog some very personnel items to everyone who will listen on the internet and then run to the cops every time she gets pissed off at you ?

My husband had to go to Guatemala on August 12,2006 for his immigration papers. He has never cheated on me before but I am wondering if he will. He should be back by the middle of march. We talk on the phone everyday-sometimes twice a day and send letters back and forth as well. We also have a 8 month old daughter together. We will be married for two years December 4. but it still leaves me with the question of Will he cheat on me? Any advice on how to get over this feeling? I tried coming out straight to ask him and he said I just need to trust him and if I keep nagging him about it he will, but that was two months ago and I havent asked him about it since. Like I said I do talk to him everyday and he always answers his phone for me.

My wife gets turned on by me noticing (not STARING, just noticing) other hot women. She loves to hear me tell her what I would love to do to them. Then I take her home/somewhere and do it to her. She loves it.
If there is some hot girl and I DON'T say anything she asks me if I see her. Asks me what I like. Asks me what I would do....and then jumps me. Fact is I was uncomfortable with it for some time, as I thought it would make her jealous - but no. It gets her all hot.
I have never strayed in our marriage - don't get me wrong. But are there any other women our there who are like this?
