Im madly in love with my older live-in boyfriend,he's still not divorced.But has been living with me for months.He has been married for 25yrs.The realtionship is great,But he just found out his wife has cancer.I told him i would understand,but he saids he dosent want to lose me.

This man has a 'full' plate. . . . separate the issues. .
He has been married for 25 years, it is only right he see to the
needs of his wife! Even, which this situation may call for, to move back in with her.
Cancer is not a death sentence, sometimes yes sometimes no.
Ride it out, be supportive, help HIM where you can. . That will be
what he needs now.
It will all work out later.
Be patient and focus on what good you have in the relationship.

He's still not divorced so that means he's still legally married? I don't know why you even allowed yourself to get involved with him in the first place knowing he's married. What makes you think you even have any right? Let go of him, give his wife the dignity she deserves and until their marriage is officially over, stay out of it completely.

he odviously still has feeling's for her, and she is after all the wife. let him go back to her and take care of her, she must feel terrible. are u the reason he left her in the first place? she is still his wife, and u should respect that, more so now than ever, move on and find someone who doesn't belong to someone else. how would u feel if u were in the wife's shoes?

I have no idea whether you are the reason for his upcoming divorce or not. If you are I don't have any patience for you. People who cheat or go with people who do are disgusting.
Now, if him and his wife separated some time ago and THEN you began to see him and his divorce has been dragging in the courts or something, that's another matter. Hopefully your boyfriend can grow a spine.

If he really loved you, he'd get divorced so he could be with you.
If he doesn't want to lose you, then he'd better get divorced.
If your idea of "real love" is "being second best in his life because his wife is more important than you are" then you need a new dictionary.

I don't understand what you mean by you would understand. The fact she has cancer doesn't mean he should go back with her, although he can relatively be there for her.
Of course if he was married to her he cares for her and should be concerned by it. Just wait and see. Give him support and talk about it with him.

ok tell me a man who doesnt support his own wife when she has cancer...and u expect him to be in love with you. i mean his wife is gonna die for god sake. and he is with you? so u expect him to be supportive all your life. I dont think so.

Then why are you letting him go?? His wife obviously meant alot to him as a person for them to last that long, but that is seperate from you...he can still be a good friend to her and support her family during this hard time. He doesn't need to divide himself... he'll need your support to get him through this.

DON'T LET GO OF HIM , LET HIM TAKE CARE OF HER BUT HE SHOULDN'T STILL WANT TO BE WITH HER BECAUSE HE FEALS BAD THAT SHE HAS CANCER.
