Our first four years of marriage were good. My husband then became a partner at an accounting firm. He then began to work long hours and on weekends. We stopped going out. I began to go out with female friends rather than mope around the house. I began to drink a lot at night after everyone was in bed. My husband moved out about 7 months ago, saying that it was because of my drinking.
Two weeks after he left, I started counseling and AA, I have not had a drink since other than near beer. Meanwhile, he became involved with a woman we both know and some other woman that he met somewhere. They split up about a month ago. He wants us to try to get back together. He says that he still loves me and the kids and wants to try to be a family again, including counseling. Your thoughts?

The other day I was over at some friends' house and the wife called her husband "a moron" in a mean way. This is the same woman who never speaks any sort of "ill will" towards her children.
After this I started taking note of how people treat their kids better than their spouses. Why?

I am talking to this guy, and I added him to my address book. When I did I typed the wrong name. Because he is a new friend I have not really had to call him by his name. Last night I decided to send him an email and I called him the wrong name twice. It was a mistake and I sent him an email saying sorry. The thing is I have slept with this guy while thinking the whole time his name was something else based on what I typed in my address book.

Do you think I hurt his feelings? The guy's name that I called him I did not sleep with that guy nor do I even know a guy named that. I don't even know where I got the name from that I called him. Also I will add that when we slept together he got performance anxiety so I don't know if I have added salt to the wound or not, and no I did not call any names when we slept together. This was really a mistake. This guy is just suppose to be a booty call, but he speaks to me everyday. Tell me what you think. What have I done if anything.

I want to be able to support my kids so when I travel sometimes I miss a night or two with the kids. Most good paying jobs in my field require some travel, mine is less than many. How is it possible to make every visitation and yet support my children financially?

Guys, when your home in the bathroom and doing your thing (#2). Does your wife complain to you about it. Does she say to you "Why do you have to do that in my bathroom" or when you come out of the bathroom and the first question out of her mouth is "did you poop". So what if I did or didnt. Women, why are you so concerned with what we do in the bathroom when it comes to going to the bathroom. I feel what goes on behind the CLOSED door is my buisness and that is it. I dont do it to you.

My husband (who is not my oldest daughter's father) is on drugs. When he goes out sometimes he ends up at her house (she is on drugs too) and spends the night with her boyfriend and her. My daughter has had a problem with this drug (crack) for about 4 years) she lost her little girl because of it. My husband has had a problem with this drug (same) for 3 years. My daughter I am told has sold her body and everything else under the sun to support her habit. I am numb. I have a young child who is 4 and I would like to go away, but everytime I try my husband blocks my way, either by making sure the money is spent on something else, or taking it and going out to do drugs. I have no mother or father as they have both passed away. I really do not know where to turn. Anyone have any ideas? I dont want this kind of thing around my little girl.

My wife has gained about 80lbs since we got married 4 years ago and now she is 3 months pregnant and will probably gain another 40-50lbs. I have been losing my attraction to her due to her large weight gain. I can't even make love to her anymore due to her size and my level of attraction for her. It is not fair how life can deal me this kind of fate. How can I get her to lose her weight?

so here's the deal. i used to be really good friends with a girl i met thru mutual friends. she is married to this guy who has a daughter with her, AND a daughter from a previous relationship. He has custody of the daughter from the marriage, but not the other relationship. he see's that baby every other week. my friend and i are barely on speaking terms right now because of how she's living her life. drinking, drugs, NOT being a good mom in my book what so ever. I have a 2 year old son that i have custody of. She ended the relationship telling him he wanted a divorce, and she moved in with a boyfriend. After she brought up the whole divorce thing, i started talking to both of them, trying to get them to work it out. He decided after a couple of her actions, he WANTED the divorce so he filed papers. now she wants him back. in the process of me talking him thru everyting, we fell pretty hard for eachother.. and now i'm stuck. how can i explain that 2 a girl i used to be best friends w/?

My "friend" came back. It doesn't have a name it just talks to me. It kept telling me to kill. I would never harm another person so I took it upon myself to hang myself in the garage. I made up a noose and put it over the shelf. When I came to the shelf had broken and I was laying on the floor spitting out dirt. After that my friend left me and I haven't heard from it since. This was the only time it told me to do something potentially harmful - except I wasn't harmed. I think it knew I would be safe. I miss it now because I have no one else to talk to. Does this make sense to anyone?
