Marriage & Divorce - 10 November 2006

I am in so much turmoil. I have a verbal/emotionally abusive husband of 12 years who has called me every name in the book. He does this while screaming in my face to the top of his lungs even in front of the children(ages 6 and 4). We are in therapy and I am very confused by it. I just really want to leave but I am scared to do this on my own. Currently I'm unemployed yet looking for a job. Is there any justification to be abusive. I haven't always been the best I could be. I haven't gone back to college, I've gained weight after the kids, and I sometimes nag a little but for good reason. He says my opinions don't matter and makes important decisions without consulting me(bought a brand new suv). He's told me I'm not **** to him and his family and our kids are his blood, not me. Looks at porno magazines and has a secret p.o box. I just want to know if a person can bring abuse upon them by not being good enough to their mate?

We seperated in 1979, she left me with my son, 3 years old at the time, and has never seen so much as a picture of him since then. I have recently had a weird experience and seem to think it would be a good thing to clear up the ghosts from the past.

I know where she works, her husbands name and more yet, still want to know why we split. I could have understood it if she had left me for someone else but that was'nt the case, her parents never asked or told her to she my son but 1 part of me will always belong to her, even though I have been with my present partner for the last 24 years, and I know I still love her, why god only knows, but dont want to hurt the woman I am with or my other children.

I feel I want to clear up the past and maybe get back at least the freindship we had.
Advice from anybody else whos had the same problem would help!

My 26 yrs old daughter has a 27 yrs old boyfriend who claims to be a christian.
He says God speaks to him thru drugs! Her boyfriend convinced her to have sex with him even though she says she wanted to wait after they are married, he took away her virginity,and gave her STD. He does'nt have a job, but waits on my daughter to take the two of them on a date. The longest he has ever worked was less than 8 months on a job he was fired from because of using drugs while working. He has an 8 year old daughter who he doesn't take of. He's rooming with a middle age woman whom he has gotten pregnant, yet he convinced my daughter that their is nothing going on between them. He's a chruch hypocrite. He works in the ministry and have convinced my daughter that he's a "Godly" man. He claimed God told him that she is his wife. He plans to marry on 7-7-07! Help!

I am in college and in my calculas 3 class and i got to thinking, what is the point to life. I cannot think of a single reason that i would want to live another day. I spend all my time studying so that later i can work as an engineer. What am i going to do with the money?? There is absolutely nothing in life worth living for. I have no family what so ever so i wont have to worry about hurting anyone by killing myself. I mean what do you people do all day that you find so exciting. I have been married to my husband for 7 &1/2 years and we have been 2-gether for 10. when we met he was 21 and I was 15.
