Marriage & Divorce - 31 October 2006

My husbands ex wife is running me into the ground. My husband is deployed to Iraq and we have a court order that I am to still get the children. This is ever Sunday from 7 am to 7pm. His ex is allowing me to get more than that. I got them last Friday right after school. The problem is they were really upset with me. She told them she was going to take them to Chukie Cheese but instead they had to come to my house. So they were upset with me like I was forcing them to be here. Then she let me have them tonight for Halloween. They were upset with me because they were supposed to wear their costumes to school and I had them. I tried to explain that I did not know. They said our Nana (whom they live with and their mom) said she tried to call you 2 times. I talked to both her and her mother twice in the last 2 days and they never said anything. I tried to tell the kids this but they took her side and did not believe me. What do I do? I do not want them to be upset with me. They are 6,6,and5

ok heres my opinion and im sure a lot of ppl will disagree but hey,, i think that if you need a piece of paper to confirm your love for each other than its a disgrace to the name of love itself, it takes trust and if your askin some 1 to sign a legal document than wheres the trust in that, the only true marriage is a marriage of hearts

Help, My Husband has a bad Gas problem, I swear it stinks worse then my 2 - 100 pound dogs put together.....I love him to death but i'm tired of getting up every night and sleeping on the sofa....He always says he is sorry, But Holy Cow.....We eat the same food, Whats up with this? Lets see. Well when I was about 3 years old my mom and dad got divorced because my dad fell in love with another woman. I'm 13 now but I still feel a stinging pain in my heart over that. My mom says I should go to a counselor...again. What should I do?

i am married and here is the problem i want to kiss the girl i work with. i know its wrong and i am a **** but we hugged a few times and it feels good should i go for it be happy with one kiss and never do it again or am i a big piece of ****. oh just to let you know i have not slept with my wife for a year i quess the marriage is over and we only stay together because of our son and we sleep in diffrent rooms now . the reason for us not sleeping together is many one being i got sick and took a long time to recover after that we just lost intrest in each other sexually. but now that i fell ready for sex again it is not with her and my mind wanders to diffrent women my god have i got problems.

I have a sister I have not seen in many years, she was taken from my mother years ago. There was a time when I would visit her in the summer. The people who cared for her were older. The couple worked in a laundermat in Philadelphia. I tried to call the owner of the laundermat and he told me that my sister was still alive and had moved probably down south.....Please help me if you know of a African American female approx 40-45 years old who has no real relatives and was raised in Philly. hello i am 37 and in college for the first time in my life. the other day my teacher told me that my hand writing is bad "which it is" and that if i do not improve it people will think i am dumb and ignorent which i quess she thinks i am . i said nothing not wanting a conflict and just walked away. she knows nothing about me why would she confront me with such a question when she clearly has know idea who i am. should i really care what people think of me?my wife loves me my son loves me and i love me should that be enough

I am wondering about marriage..i am only 19 and i am thinking about marriage soon with my boyfriend. i know he is the one for me but here is the dilemma: i live hours away from where he is. we are going to neighbor colleges right now but i have to transfer schools next year. my mom and dad will allow me to live with my boyfriend only if we get married..and that is the only way to go to his new college (he is transferring too) well anyways he is joining the army and he will prolly be sent overseas as soon as he graduates b/c he is in the rotc program in college..what my concern is is that i wont be able to be with him.and the best way to stay with him is throught marriage..he proposed to me..recently..and i accepted..not because of the whole college thing but b/c i really want to marry him..but what should i do? please have nice comments..oh! my boyfriend is 20..btw..lol

My wife left nearly 4 months ago. I filed for divorce via service by publication because she won't tell me where she was living. She found out about the divorce preceedings and came back. She's spent all her money while away and asking me for help. She says she's still in love with me, but I've had it and want this over ASAP. What can I offer her to encourage her to sign all the papers and go away? My house in both our names, I paid for it all and want her to sign it over to avoid a court battle. What would you take if you had no money or a placeto live? I am thinking of offering her my car and rent for an apartment for 6-12 months. Sound good? Cheaper than giving it to the lawyers.

What rights do I have as a 15 year old teenager in a family that's recently split? I had no say in the custody at all, meaning now I go to my dad's house every week, then go to my mom's. It's been rough at my dad's house for the past 4 months, and I'm sick of it. (Not going into detail there.)

Main point: What can I do if this custody is not working for ME, not dad or mom, but me.
Please, no counseling suggestions, those haven't worked ever.

My husband is a cheater however the other day, he claimed that he is going to change his ways. According to him, he is not going to lie or cheat anymore, he is always going to be by truth's side. My boyfriend and the father of my four month old daughter has an ex wife that he has two children together with. I have looked through his phone twice now in the past couple of months and found text messages between the two of them stating things relating to missing one another. They are very recently divorced and do still have two children together. But this is not cool with me. He told me this past time that it would NEVER happen again and that my daughter and I are his family now and yada yada yada. I already know that I'm being a dumb you know what for staying with him, but does anybody have any suggestions?
