At work, I take extra training to become a supervisor and she gets the job instead.

How do I deal with my jealousy / envy???

OK my brother just passed away Nov-1-07 and im still in shock ...He drowned ... Every since his death strange things have happen ...Like for instance ...About 3 years ago my brother got rid of his car by putting it in a storage because it wasnt working right and he didnt have time to fix it cause he was moving ...Well about a year later he came back to strip the car and get the body kit off of it ... They told my brother that they was send his car to a junk yard and he said ok thats fine...Well that was 2 years ago ...I was driving down the road yesterday and i was just thinking about him and all a sudden going the other direction was a recker with that same car on it ...It was my brothers car ...And that freaked me out because they told me and brothers that they had already gotton rid of it almost 2 years ago...I had goose bumps...I dont wanna sound crazy but i feel like my brother is tryin to let me know he is here with me ....What u think of this??????????

My parents have always been sort-of obtuse and rather selfish, and we "had it out" (huge fight) in April of this year, and I cut them out of my life (they live out of state, so it was easy). It's a family tradition ... I have two older brothers who did the same thing, 16 and 10 years ago, respectively - none of us has seen or heard from them in that time... but I digress.

HERE'S MY QUESTION:

I got a letter in the mail today from my father, addressed to my 7-year-old daughter (whose name he has previously not known how to spell correctly).

Should I stamp it "REFUSED - RETURN TO SENDER"? Or just let her have it?

I'm not going to "re-kindle" any kind of relationship with my father or stepmother (mother's been dead for 25 years) ... I feel more at peace than at any other time in my life. My wife's parents are so much better to my daughter than my parents have ever thought of being, so it's not like she can't get along without MY folks.

Suggestions?

If I specify in my will that upon my death, my child is to go to my parents, could her natural father contest the will and possibly be granted custody of her? I live in Pennsylvania, not sure if that has any effect on the answer.

I am at my wits ends. My daughter just got ungrounded for not coming home on time and today she comes home from school at 9pm. I called the police because I really didn't know where she was. They suggested probabtion, but really IDK about that. What can I do? She has lost her freedom again and phone and internet but she leaves school early and disapears.

He throws out my clothes, I have no clothes to wear. He threw out all of my knick knacks that people have given me. Stuff that I like to decorate my room with. OMG i can't believe it. Hes going crazy and hes upsetting me!

So i got my cousin she is 13, i am 19,, we are close, she tells me everything, we never argued.. but i have recently been getting mad at her, i did not want to say anything, but she is mean to her sister who is younger to her, she has been for a while, just did not say anything, she is very conceited, always tries to put people down, she thinks just because she is a straight A student she is better then anyone even me, i am at college wtf. so i have been ignoring her, not talking to her, cause it gets me mad, but she still talks to me, like nothing is wrong, why is that i dont know,, what should i do just tell her..

I am VERY confused with friends, boys, school, sports, AHHHH! I can't handle it but I have to do them. I am on the B honor roll struggling for A. I have ADD so schools easy for me (right). My family problems add on to the list with my 4 younger brothers I have to constantly take care of, my mom struggling with lyme.....my dad's always gone on business trips...HElP! My boyfriend and I were arguing after a night of drinking. It got heated and when I went to leave I kicked the corner of the sliding glass door in anger. I was not indending to break it or cause damage, but I did. It is costing me 500 it replace it. I have paid all but 50. I am a single mother and am struggling right now. I feel that he was at least 10 percent of the problem during the arugement and 50 dollars is not much to ask him to pay. I do have a career but it is slow right now. I am trying to juggle a career, school, and daycare and every other expense. Am I asking too much? I know it sounds pathic but it was really hard to come up with 450 and really don't have the other money.

My brother is overweight--more like, obese. I'm very worried about him, and I don't really know what to do. I tried talking to my dad about it, and said, "Can we PLEASE do something about it?" And he's like, "There's nothing we can do." And I said, "What do you mean?" And he's like, "Didn't you hear me the first time, I said there's nothing we can do. Now go away."
I've approached him multiple times with this issue and his response was the same each time.

Does this mean that he doesn't care about his children?

She has done and still to this day does things to me to hurt me. Its like she wants to see me happy, but when I'm happy she hates it! My MOTHER Has A Drinking Problem and when she drinks she is the devil her self. I'm tired of her and her ways. She is a Burden on me and I dont like that. She causing problems with me and my personall life and she is stressing me out. This has been going on for some time now, ever since I was small. I went to a foster home because of her drinking. I'm 21 now and she still acts the same. She makes me wish she dosent exist or that she would just go away. She picks at everything I do and everyone i'm with. One minute she loves me and the next she hates me. She is a abusive, and mentally abusive. I'm tired of crying over someone, who dosent give a hell about me, but acts like it when their Sober!! My parents died when I was younger. I live with an old aunt who doesnt seem to like me very much. I'm 20 f.

My boss (also female) where I work part time at a clothing store is soo nice to me. I do an amazing job with sales and product knowledge, and she thinks I'm great. Only thing is-- I can't help this-- I get very moody sometimes (NOT with customers). I don't curse, but I guess I'm fussy and complain to the boss. She always laughs it off and speaks to me gently. She also asks how I'm doing to make sure my personal life and school are going ok.

Do employees normally lose their jobs when they're fussy with their bosses? It's like she's my mom and I'm bitching to her. Everytime I do this, I feel bad and stupid afterwards, but I can never help doing it again.

Also, she's the only person I trust, and I don't even tell her alll that much personal stuff. Other than her being nice to me, my life is ****.

But am I gonna get fired if I lean on her like this?

All I wanted was some support for what I was doing with my life. I’m not a drug dealer or a career criminal or anything like that. My own mother doesn’t support my decision to become a police officer before I graduate college. All I want is a good job that I love and can support me and my 2 kids. She keeps telling me that I will fail and never go back to school, that I will never let her live her own life as she wants to. She tells me that she is stuck using her entire retirement fund to help me out and that she is giving her life up for me. I am doing my best. I am a single mother with 2 kids and this sh#t is hard. She tells me all the time that she had to do it. I just want to scream in her face that at least she had a great man (my father) to help her out and parents that didn’t throw mistakes in their faces every chance they got. I can’t help but sit here and cry for the one thing I ever wanted and will never get. The love and support from my own mother.

I was so angry at her, that I hit the screen with my fists...I am crying now, because I have so much to do, including homeowrk, and I wrecked the screen...I am on a different computer now, but she's going to find out out next time she uses it (which will be tomorrow, I am sure). I don't know what to do. i love my parents... everytime i try to get them to stop yelling i just get yelled at... i dont know what to do. especially my dad, he SERIOUSLY has temper problems.... i cant do anything about it... its so weird though.. cause some days they are like freaking pissed at each other then the next, they are like normal parents... sometimes i just REALLY HATE THEM. im so... ugh.. i dont know.

Ok mark and i have been living together for 3yrs(both in our 30s) heres what he does when we fight
1.Has told me in my face to shut up
2. Throws/slams things around
3.Threatens to leave me all the time
4.Drops the "f" bomb(only with me)
5.Drives dangerously when we are fighting
6.Its ALLWAYS me not him at fault
7. Never says i'm sorry
8. Will give me the silent treatment to punish me
Now he would never do any of this stuff in front of his family/friends it only when we are alone. I never yell or sware at him but if i just bring up something that is bothering me he will start in with this crap. Its to the point where i'm walking on eggshells all the time as i never know how he will react to a issue i bring up.

I have a sister who has 3 children that hate her, she has joined every self help group including AA looking for people to listen to her while gaining nothing from the programs. She marries men that you wouldn't even talk to and she wont shut up. She is on the phone all day to whoever will listen, shows up at your house with all her problems, which are everyones fault but hers and gets upset if you try to talk to her rationally about anything. This a big problem for me as I can't throw her out, I can't get rid of her and I am terrified that when my parents die (she lives with them) she will show up on my doorstep to live with me. How do you handle this? I lietrally cant stand her. She brings chaos and misery to everything she touches and I have spent years trying to distance myself from her. But she is my sister.

I mean i asked my mom's doctor woul dshe be okay and how the surgery went. (She had a blood clot removed from her brain and she is now out of the icu)

But when i had asked him the day after she came out of surgery how she was and would be and he said she is doing great, that every bit of the blood clot was removed but then in the next breath he said "She could die tonight or tomorrow night"

Why are doctors so uncaring and he knew that i was her daughter.?

I am lost please pray for my family.

what should I do I live with my mom right now and have for the last two years I can't move out right now cause I am a single mom of two girls and just don't have the money. My mom and I have never been close and fight almost every day. Almost every day I am in my room because we are fighting and I don't want to deal with it. so i do bad in school.
i fail sometimes.
at the end of the year i pass.

but when i fail courses like 20 (i raised my first term 20 to an 80, i was proud hehe) my mom beats me than she tells my dad, sister, calls my cousins to tell them, then my cousins parents (my aunts/uncles) and then goes to my dad side of the family and tell them. how do i tell her to keep her mouth shut?
