Is it healthy to wish you were like your younger sister??

2 Years younger:

My sister is so popular, friendly and good with people.

At work, I take extra training to become a supervisor and she gets the job instead.

How do I deal with my jealousy / envy???

I am an elder sister have dealt with jealously from my middle sister. Why do you want to be a clone of your sister. You have your own special qualities to offer the world so don't worry about being like your sister and find somewhere else to work. Carve out your life away from your sister and jealously is natural but don't let eat away at you.

Being popular,friendly and having good relations with all are good qualities and you should develop them in yourself too. These are assets for any one.To have peaceful life , one should not retain jealousy with any one.It harms the jealous person only.You will not feel any jealousy if you concentrate on your own progress and ignore what she is achieving.

It is not healthy, but it is pretty normal. Try not to compare yourself to your sister. Live your own life and try not to entangle it with the life of your sister. If you work in the same place, consider changing jobs. You should NOT work in the same place as your sister. Don't compare yourself to her. Have your own friends, your own interests and your own life. If you work in the same workplace, get a new job as soon as possible.

She probably delights is showing you up and proving herself to be "superior". Don't play that game with her. Do your own thing. Try to live your life separate from her and don't mingle your friends, interests, etc.

Why dont you look at her best qualities and try to learn them. Then maybe you wont be so jealous. You shouldnt be jealous anyway its your sister.
