I am at my wits ends. My daughter just got ungrounded for not coming home on time and today she comes home from school at 9pm. I called the police because I really didn't know where she was. They suggested probabtion, but really IDK about that. What can I do? She has lost her freedom again and phone and internet but she leaves school early and disapears.

been there done that.
here is what you do.
tell her that the next time she takes off early the next day you will (take off work if you have to) you will take her to school and stay with her all day, going from class to class IN YOUR OLD GRANNY NIGHT GOWN AND SLIPPERS WITH YOUR HAIR IN CURLERS!!!) tell her that your will do that plus you will take away all of her privileges on top of it.
but trust me you will strike fear into her heart at the thought of you traipsing around with her all day in your pajamas.
worked for me!!!! never had another problem!!!

Hey look, the stuff you are doing isn't working, so I suggest you take ANY and all outside help that is offered to you.
If the cops have some stronger consequences to bring to bear such as probation, then let her have it.
At 14, if she leaves school early then she's a truant.
Have her arrested and brought into family court.
Maybe once she sees some serious discipline then she will be more accepting of whatever discipline you bring to bear on her.

She's old enough to hear a heartfelt plea from you, but she may not accept it. At this age - your best bet is to play dirty and use emotions. Keep telling her how much you love her - keep telling her you want her to succeed - keep telling her you know how smart and capable she is
Now for the play dirty part - get tough. Bribe her friends if need be, but let her know that you are in charge and her friends aren't. When she's 30 minutes late, this means you go to school with her in the morning and stick side by side with her for 30 minutes - even if it means walking to class with her holding her hands and introducing yourself. Let the school knows that if she leaves early, the MUST call you or the police to report it.
Keep in mind the ultimate goal - to raise her to be an independent, self-satisfied adult. When thinking of a choice of action - ask yourself - will it satisfy the ultimate goal?

she really needs some longer term treatment. i suggest a treatment center. i worked at one and i'll bet she's not just skipping school. you have to cut this problem off early so that it doesn't get worse, because it will.

Bar the door. Arrange for an adult to drop her off and pick her up from school. She is a skank, and cannot be trusted. If you are a single mother, your disrespect of her father is a cause of her evil. It will continue into adulthood, and your own immorality is a factor in her behavior.

I would go with the cops suggestion. Tough love is what she needs.

Whip her, whip her good. Or call the police again.
