It depends on the laws in your state.
But one thing they can do is is put you in a camp such as a boys/girls camp (it's like a military camp for kids).
They can also have the court mandate that you go to counseling and take anger management classes. If you don't go, then it would be disobeying a court order, and they can put you in juve for that.

Unfortunately, it depends your state and county where you live as to whether that child would be accepted into juvenile hall.
For example, in the county where I live, the child would have to have committed a felony (something really bad) in order to be booked into jail. Otherwise, everyone else gets turned away.
Now, if this child was disrespectful to the extreme where his/her parents felt afraid for their lives or had been harmed in some way, or the child had disrespected them and was also suicidal, it wouldn't be an issue at that point.
Finally, and this is rare, the parents could decide that they no longer wanted the child at home (i.e. were no longer willing to care for their child) at which point the child would be acceptable into juvenile hall. However, it would be PERMANENT and not temporary.
There are other alternatives such as residential programs / boot camps, etc. but statistically, those have little success.
Just food for thought.
Good luck!

Depends on how disrespectfull and unruly you are. If you are threatening or stealing, etc., yes. My students in Martial Arts class learned along time ago that disrespect earns you one thing, ....no respect back. Grow up.

There are voluntary military-style boot camps and boarding schools for troubled youth out there if that's what you mean.
If you are the child in question, I suggest you mind your mama!

yep, but not the one that's jail and meant for sex offenders and peps of violent crime, they can send you to year round boot camps/military schools/bordering schools or even worse yet there are monasteries that teach kids how to become priests or nuns and if you are 17 and up they can sign you up for the armed forces.

parents can send their child (are you talking about you) to a treatment center to teach some behavior modification probably for oppositional defiance. they can't send you to juvenile corrections (jail). there would have to be a law broken.

No. But they could put you in residential school for kids that can't control themselves. Be respectful, or at least act that way, even if what is in your mind is different. Will go much easier.
