Our neighbor's son is 13 and is from the Domincan Republic and has been here for approx. 10yrs.
Another neighbor overheard an argument with his mom who is also Domincan, and the American husband, something to the fact that he was not going to jail because of them. It is obvious to all that he married her to get her here in the US. Apparently the son, does not have a "green" card, but yet has been living here and attending school. The young boy tells us that he can't go back to his country because they won't let him back. He usually goes every yr. to visit his sister's, aunts, family.
Could that be true? How illegal is this?
OH, get this, his mom ask me if my brother, who is single, would be interested in marrying her sister so that she can come to America!!! Of course they would pay lots of $ to do this.
I laughed so hard that I almost peed myself.

We live in a quiet suburban area and some of her friends have knocked recently and asked if she can go out with them. I have let her twice. Each time she has taken her a mobile phone and stayed with friends. What are your opinions on this? She is very mature and I think she is ready.

He plays xbox and talks with his buds. I miss my son. His dad and I try to get him to "come on down", but he seems happy to scowl around and stay away from us. Uh, recently I found some porn under his mattress when I was changing linens. I threw em away and did not say anything to him.

I am 27 years old and because I spent all the money on my credit card for what she says was not needed. I reduced my bill by $100 this month. I say I am progressing but she is so mad she will not talk to me ever again. She will not let me borrow 1 cent to if I am short 1 cent. Do I call debt fixers to help or I am just run away to get attention?

if your child went missing would you wash the last thing that they had held ie a teddy. even if it was covered in dribble and sun tan lotion.
kate mccann states that the teddy was was in bed with maddy when they left her, but on finding her missing the teddy was on a shelf that the toddler could not of reached so whoever took her placed it there! (that alone is hard to believe). if what she says is true why wash it as it may have held DNA clues of the abductor.
i am a father and just cannot understand why she would want to erase the scent of maddy.

My mother told me that she is still married to my father for the financial security for my brother and I. She has been miserable with him for all of my 22 years and says she has to stay married to him because my brother and I "wouldn't know how to live."

Despite the fact that she made her own bed, is depressed and not taking her meds, and has been unfaithful to my father (I caught her cheating when I was 18, my brother recently discovered she is talking to her ex-husband again), I still feel enormous guilt, regardless of the fact that it is illogical.

How can I overcome my guilt? How can I ease my brother's guilt? He is only 14 and has enough problems. It just kills me to think that he feels as I do. I have an enormous weight on my shoulders.

Is her behavior normal or abusive?

I am 25 currently living with parents and attending college full time and working full time. Currently I am paying tuition and books straight out of my pocket somehow miraculously. Plus I have a car payment.

The problem is that I'm tired of living with my parents and want my own place, but afraid I cannot afford it. I am also starting to have problems getting along with my dad. Is there any way I can afford college and an apartment?

I need Help and asked my family in a way I thought might be quite and would not put them on the spot with a face to face. I e-mailed them all. I'm disabled. I gave them a list of things I use alot and told them I'd appreciate any one thing as help from them (like paper towels, etc....).I told them I did not expect . . . but asked/let them know . . . and left it up to them. I told them I was sorry to ask, but I needed help. Was it wrong for me to ask. I thought this would be a quite way to let them know I needed help. Was it?

My step-sister sweet sixteen is this weekend and I have no idea what to get her. I want it to be something really good, but not to expensive. She is kinda of a girly girl, but she is really into basketball (because she plays for her school). She likes a lot of rap music and r&b. So any ideas will help. Oh the gift should probably be no more than 60 dollars.

I had surgery on Fri. and her Grandmother had to watch her. Her father was working and her uncle is there all day. I noticed a common rash on her rear end and on her vag. lips so I washed her up. While I was doing that I asked her if anyone had ever touched her down there(she said only grandma wne she washes her) I said ok no biggie she has to do that. I took her to my room to put some cream and powder on her and I noticed as I was checking her that inside her Vag. she was really red. I have never seen that before on her(or any of my other two daughters) I was kinda shocked. I said whoa you are really red and she said well tio(Uncle) touched me there and I asked her where and she pointed down there. Sometimes she tells tales.I dont wanna be that mom that calls my kid a liar. I dont know what to do...Please if anyone has had a situation like this please help.

So whenever I buy ice cream, no matter where in the freezer i hide it, my dad always eats most of it and then wonders why he isnt losing weight!! But whenever I tell him to stop eating it, he tells me he only had a spoonful when really he goes through at least a pint a day!! I dont know what to do so I can still eat ice cream and not have my dad eat it all.....

Well my daughter just started pre-school last week. She only goes on tuesday, wed, and thurs. She goes from 8:30 till 3:00. We went to my mother in laws house for my husband birthday and my daughter want to spend the night. I said that it would be fine as long as she was home by 8:00 so she can get some sleep for school. My mother in law said that it was fine. And here it is 9:00 and they are just getting ready to leave. They leave an hour or more away. I am pissed about it. I am the one that has to get her up in the morning, not her. So my question is should she stay the night over there anymore? I dont want to be the bad guy about it but I want her home at 8 not when she want to bring her home. I even offer to pick her up, but they were out shopping and everything today and she said that she would bring her home. So do you think that she should stay over there?

There's this kid at school. He was nice to me until a few days ago and then he called me a f*ckin b*tch because I threw a pecon at him to stop him from killing this cat. And then he insulted me by saying something to me thatwas just really mean but if I told you what it was you wouldnt get it. And then today at school I was avoiding him because of what he said and then he threaten my bestfriend. So I got really mad and one of my others friends asked me what was wrong and I told her the entire story. But then he over heard and called me the same name that you wouldnt understand and he kept egging it on. So finally I dropped all my books and pushed him into a locker. A teacher saw but didnt say anything. The next hour he was in my class and kept saying really bad stuff about me and the teacher told him to stop but after school I text asking him why he's such a liar and he text me back saying "I aint now stop texting me or else." What do I do about this jerk?

Sry. It was soo long.

After many years of not really knowing or associating with my real father, I feel the need due to our age for us to be close or try to have a relationship of some kind.
For years my mother made me beleive that he didn't care much about being my father and my step father had always been there for me, so I should just forget about a relationship with my real father.
My step father, couldn't ever handle even the mention of my real father, so if I have anything to do with my real father, my step father will not understand and will get upset. So I have to keep it a secret if I have anything to do with my real father which makes hard to build anykind of relationship, if you know what I mean.
How would you work on this if you where me.
I do desire very much to have my real father in my life, but live in fear that if my step father finds out he will think I don't care anything about him anymore and my real father has always known this that is why he has always kept his distance.

As far as wording that question, yea, I know it's terrible. But what I mean is, as far as censorship, like ridding of TV and internet blockers, watching R or PG-13 rated movies, etc. This sorts of stuff. I'm not a parent, but I am curious how other parents feel about this. I know parents who try to protect their kids until they are 18, and I feel they are too underexposed to life, then I know parents who don't protect their kids from that at all, and so fourth.

Just wanting to know your opinion on the matter.
