Oh believe me, you will never forget mom- she will be in your heart forever and ever. It isn't that you forget, it is what they call getting past the grief level and moving forth with your life and focusing on things you would still have focused on even if mom was here. Our passed loved ones want the best for us, they help us through things from the other side- mom is always with you, and she would want nothing more than for you to fulfill your dreams and goals in life.
Often times on a quiet night, I will go out back and sit and look at the stars and talk to my loved ones, as skeptical as I am I have had many experiences since childhood and open to "some" things that happen. One woman I know who is a medium informed me just recently that my grandmother came through, very pushy and got loud... she told me that I talk to my grandmother and that my grandmother loves that, thanked me for the talks. I believe they do hear us, they listen. There are weeks that go by and it seems I forget to talk to them, but I never actually forget ABOUT them.
My condolences to you- and never ever feel you will forget anyone like your mom- we lose many people in life, but we never lose the love or the spiritual connections we have with them no matter how long we are physically seperated.
Love and many hugs to you-

I'm so sorry about your mother, but hon you aren't going to forget your memories. After you learn to be ok again...you'll see that small things remind you of memories you shared with her. I think it may help you to make a memory/scrap book. You can go forward with your life, and still have her involved. It's also a very good way to document your memories. Add pictures of her, your family, things she loves, yourself...write in the memory that goes with the picture....or just dedicate pages to the things you loved the most about her. You won't forget her. Cheer up... she's still there...she's just your angel now. <3

At each event in your life, imagine how your mom would have reacted, what she would have advised you, what it would be like to have her there. Maybe she really is watching!
Of course she wouldn't want you to stop living because she died. Keep her in your heart, and live well.

That's what memories are for. No one can take our memories way from us. It's okay to move on. Good luck,
