Ok, when i was a kid about 5-6 years old I remember that I use to go to this store, and there was this teenage guy who touched me inappropriately. he use to touch me "down there". i was too young to know anything, so i never said it. I never told my parents. Now i am in my late 20s and i asked my mom who was that guy that worked in that store, she shocked me it turned out he was my COUSIN!!! he's now married and has two kids, and to top it i use to babysit one of his daugherts! at that time i didn't know it was him that harrassed me. Should I even say anything?? eveyrone sees him as this great quiet simple guy. i havent' seen him in years either, and i heard he's really ill.

I have a 9 month old son and his father is a complete loser. He SAYS he works at a fast food restaurant and has stopped all his drugs and partying but I dont think he has. I want him out of my life and my sons life. He said before that he was going to sign his rights over. I was wondering if anyone knew if I had to find anyone to adopt my son in his place. His father is NOT on the birth certificate. Does anyone know what I could do?

I have fever and a sore throat right now. My dad told me to go practise golf and I told him I couldn't cause I feel sick. He actually got mad at me and said that I'm pathetic that I never practise golf. (I practised 2 days ago and I work out every day). He says that he's going to kick me out of my girls golf group as well as all the other girls (because we don't practise every single day). And now he's mad and taking it out on Fuzzy, my dog- cutting all his nails too short. I hate it when he does that but I can't do anything about it.
I hate how my mom acts sometime too. My dad hit me sometimes when I was small, and a couple of months ago he and i were having a pillow fight and I "hit" him on the neck with a pillow. He strained his neck and took it out on me. I didn't start crying until he went out of my room and closed the door. I hate it when he sees me cry because of him.
Whenever I talk to my mom she always turns my words against me. I don't know how to handle this.

It was one summer evening about dusk and we went into the petrol garage at the top of the road to get some sweets and the man behind the counter had no trousers on and although we didn't know it at the time he had a big you know what, he asked us if we wanted to touch but we scarpered. We never went near the place again and didn't tell our parents. Has anything similar happened to you. Paedo's know that kids won't tell, it must be happening all the time. I actually feel quite sick thinking about it.

It's really frustrating.
I'm 16 years old and she he keeps reading my diary and my texts on my phone. She even reads my e-mails on the computer if I leave the room to get something.
I know some people are gonna say "She's your mother, she's worried about you" but I really don't like her doing this. I'm the type of person who keeps things to myself and don't get other people wrapped up in my problems... I don't like her reading my diary because I feel really powerless and intruded because all of my deepest thoughts and feelings are in there. (I've stopped writing in it now because of this).
She uses the things she's read against me too and she tells my siblings about it too.
I really don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore.
Any ideas?

I want custody so she can't just come back and get them, cause if she does they will go to foster care.

I and my brother play kickboxing in our club and usually my brother wins most of the games against me because he gets cheered up by my sister and her friends plus his girlfriend and her friends too!!! So last night after the final match which he won without a doub, I went home disappointed and then I saw him massaging my sister's feet on the couch while watching TV. Later I went to sleep and suddenly I got up at midnight coz of a thud like sound and went out of my room and to my astonishment saw my brother doing it with my sister. I quickly withdrew but they did not see me!!! Gosh I dont know what to do but im the eldest and my sister and bro are younger ones. Im 28 my bro is 23 and sis is 21. What shall I do? Even if I tell my parents they will easily get away as my parents know that Im jealous about them because of their closeness to each other and stuff like that. Shall I let them go!!!??? It actually made me jealous like hell!!!

a relative of mine will start a topic of conversation, yet when I give my reply he acts indifferent. Let's say he brings up a show on t.v. that he thinks is funny, and I'll reply "oh, I love that show too! Did you see the one when...", and he will give a half-hearted chuckle and then start whistling or look out the window, and the subject is dropped as if I've said something wrong. If I am talking and I am having trouble thinking of a word to fit in a sentence (I have scars on my brain from Epstein-Barr Syndrome), he won't do what most decent people do, which is try to help me think of the word. He will just get a snide grin on his face and let me keep struggling to think of the word, then look away in disinterest. He has "labeled" certain behaviors of my mom's that he finds annoying; when we go out to eat as a family, if she seems extra happy to be there, he calls it "The comedy of the absurd". Is it possible that this person is just mean-spirited?

My younger sister is quite lazy and extremely messy - I mean, I am not terribly neat myself, but I am worried about her - she leaves dishes in the sink for days on end, garbage (smelly!) overflowing in the house, clothes laying around on the floor. When we go to her house, we have to negotiate our way around the floor to prevent us falling over. She has asked me to help her, but I don't really know what to say besides clean up after yourself! I think she is suffering from depression also. Have you ever been this messy and disorganised, and been able to "correct" your ways so that you are not so bad. My young nephew lives with her and I worry about him being brought up in this environment as well. My sis knows she has trouble, but I don't know what to do to help her.

I live with my grandmother and she's the most horrible person you could ever meet in your life. She lies about everything to make me look bad and is unbelieveably spiteful. She ruined my art coursework and threw out a file of work just before my A-level exams so I had to quit school. I've been trying to re-sit some a-levels in college to try and get to uni but she's been moving my papers and throwing them all over the floor. My mothers car is broken and so I rely on my grandmother to give me lifts to my part time job, she'll wait until im ready to go then tell me she wont take me so I have to call into work to say I'll be late. I keep getting into trouble becuase of this. She spent the money my mother had in a savings account for me to learn to drive because she rekons she put more money into it than my mother (lies) and it was in her name. My belongings are in her house because my mother is selling her own house to live with her boyfriend. She isnt old (56)

My significant other has three wonderful children (6,8 and 12). I have a good relationship with them all and really enjoy spending time with them. A couple of months ago their mother gave full custody to their dad (my SO) so she could pursue a career as a flight attendant. Originally kids thought she would be gone a few days at a time and then home to see them for a few days. Her schedule is mostly weekends allowing her 3-4 days off and at home during the week. In reality she has only had the kids over night 4-5 times since mid-february and when she does see the kids it is once every couple of weeks for maybe four hours after school and then brings them home. I am with them quite a bit and have seen all of them upset because they miss mommy. Any suggestions on how to help them w/ missing her? How can I be supportive of them w/o making them feel like i'm trying to be their mother? I want my own relatinship w/ them & don't want them to feel that I'm ever trying to take her place

I'm having a hard time forgiving the person who shot my cousin five months ago. First of all, it was his daughter, and they are doing her trials around this time. She is only looking forward to like 3 years. I just want to be able to forgive her, even though what she did was horrible. I'm just struggling to cope with everything. Any suggestions?
