He said that if ever we get to have a long and sweet relationship, and end up getting married, he's going to sing "Butterfly Kisses" (for his little girl and for the son-in-law he would be proud to have).

What's that supossed to mean?

I have been taking care of my boyfriends little brother since the beginging of this month and he is 6 years old. His teeth are rotten, he still have a popcorn cornel in his ear since months ago. His mom is a substance abuser and no one wants to help but me. I just found out the mom is living in an apartment on me. Meaning my name is still on a lease. Soon she will be back on the streets smoking her pipe. I have tried every number and court in Maryland and they want me to pay over 100.00 to fill out applications. I don't have a job and I am trying to help this boy. What do I do from here. Should I take him up to the court so they can see how bad he look or what? Please help! I am in a desperte need. We have no social security card or birth certificate. He has never been in school either. I don't want my boyfriend to get mad at me becasue he know if I put his mom out there she will be in jail, wher she need to be. I have done so much for this family.

My sister has just invited my parents to a dinner with her husband and 3 adult children, plus her husbands parents for Mothers Day. I am single and live 4 hours drive away, but I have made it clear I would make the trip for a familly activity - however she continues to plan things like this without consulting, or inviting me. Am I being too sensitive here, or is my sister out of line?

I'm the oldest. Then my brother, followed by my two sisters. Mom & Dad had 40 yrs together.True it was very traumatic losing her partner. Now , that very same day on ... my brother and I were literately excluded from them.... Not allowed in my moms house at all. Not able to be involved in plannig his funeral. Calling the Police to escort me out of my house in which my dad owned. No where to go. Outraged whenI asked to see the trust. Finding out my sisters are to be exctr. after her. Me knowing my dads business, along w/ his estate with his brothers, are not being delt with accordingly. Totally ignoring the business w/ my dads greedy brothers. Insisting not to talk to my brother and I, now going on 3 yrs. Never got to mourn together as a family. Mom saying to me..."It's me, {Sis}and{Sis} Its a shame .We were so close. My dad always kept his business affairs from her. I kinda feel , I intimidated her toward my fathers estate. Its like my bro & I have no more family. They're so hateful .

I have a birthday to plan for my soon to be 2 years old daughter and i don't know what to do for her. Do anyone have any suggestions?

I don't want to do a party. Just something outside the home that's exciting and memorable.

well I really shouldn't be asking this cause I know why but how do people deal with there grandchild leaving there home after being with you for so long , 3 years,my son came to live with us that long ago after divorcing his wife for abuse to their daughter.I have been like a mother/granny to her all this time
don't really know the wife that he has married, they got married so fast (and no she isn't pregnant). How does one deal with this? I know their isn't a whole lot to do but keep an eye on the situation, but you think my son would look at her and me and see its just horrible.I know that she needs to be with her dad.
I don't know has anyone else been through this and if so how did you deal. Please anyone,THANKS

What do you have planned for your mom this year? I know we should acknoledge our moms all year round, but think about it, just like a birhday is a special day for all of us, this is a special day too. If it weren't for our moms, we wouldn't even be here on this earth. So don't you agree she deserves some special recognition? My most treasured gifts from my children was the home made cards and gifts. And doing a special chore like washing my car. One time I got a special home made peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. Best sandwich I ever had :)

It seems like everything I'm good at, all I have to do is wait a few years and he'll do it better. I'm 4 years older than him, and he always acts like such a jerk when he beats something I've done that I thought I was good at, like he rubs it in my face by going outside my door and doing some idiotic victory song and dance. I hate him so much. I don't mean to sound horrible and nasty, but I really do and I don't know what I can do about it. Help??!

I am a Mom, I live in California and I have a six year old daughter. My daughter has just informed me that a 14yr old boy (her step-father's cousin) had kissed with his tongue. As she is stating this she mentioned that she was used to it. So I believe it is not the only time this has happened. I called the Sheriff's department to report it, apparentally it is not against the law for a 14yr old boy to french kiss a 6yr old child. I don't understand how there was no law being broken. I called Child Protective Services and they stated it was out of there jurisdiction because they don't live together. I feel like no one is doing anything about this. What if he does it again? What if its not all that he has done? The deputy said if I want him to talk with my child and then the 14yr he would...your d*mn right I do! Is it like this everywhere? Is it ok for teenages to french kiss children? Someone please help me understand....

My mom babysits my niece. My mom was diagnosed w/breast cancer. I told my sister, my mom can't baby sit my niece any longer, because my mom can't deal w/the stress. My mom has a huge heart and is willing to continue to baby sit my niece. I have another sister that is willing to babysit my niece, just to give my mom a break. However, my sister, (the mom of my niece) continued to bring my niece to my mom. I talked to my sister and told her that was wrong, that she was not thinking w/the right mind by still briging her child to my mom as my mom has cancer and needs zero stress. My sister got very upset and claims I'm blaming my niece for my mom's cancer. I never blamed her. My sister told me she wants me away from her daughter and she also said her husband, my brother in law, also wants me away. I love my niece w/all my heart and it hurts me so much to come home and find my niece wanting to greet me happily and my sister tells her to go to her, she doesn't let her be close to me.
