My son usually makes me a card and gives my a handful of dandelions from the backyard. I love that! He is 12 now and he has been asking me if I like certain things when we go shopping this past week. So I think he has his eye on something from a store & might use his allowance to buy me something this year. A homemade card and dandelions will due just fine but if he wants to buy something that's good also. Last year he came home with a Hershey candy bar from the local gas station. I split it with him. His love is all I want.

I would love to get a handmade card. Maybe some shells that they picked on the beach and a great big hug and kiss and them to tell me they love me and I'm the best mom in the world.

That would be great!

A big hug, a kiss and an "I love you mommy". A clean room would be the icing on the cake (LOL).
I don't want anything material, it's just nice to know I'm appreciated.
