She doesn't want me to work nor go to college to get my Master's degree. When she 1st heard about me going back to college, she tried to talk me out of it. Also, my brother asked me, "Why don't you become a doctor. You should be a doctor because you're very smart." & then my mom intervened & said, "Candy, you don't have the mindset to be a doctor." I want my career to be a medical translator/interpreter.

Does my mom sound jealous? She has nothing going good for her life. She's afraid I'm gonna outsmart her, in which I already did. I'm the youngest & only person in the family to graduate from college.

My husband wants teenager to pay rent.The thing is;is that he wants me to be the one to to tell the teenager.Why should I be the one to have to tell him when it's his fathers idea that he pays rent.who do you think should address the teenager & why ?

this person in my opinion uses me for there advantage putting me down and always expects there life/problems to be mine.. i cant just never see them, and when i confront this person they say sorry, but the next min do it over and over again.. please help

We were at a light and were talking about the light being red and stoping. She is almost three in July. Well about a few seconds later I heard scretching and saw the driver in my rear mirror coming at me and BOOM! Our van was totaled and the truck. He had a big chevy truck. The guy that hit us had no license, no ins, no english speaking and was under the influence of alchcohol. He had a open bear can in his cab.
Thank god my daughter and I made it! I hurt real bad all over, especially my neck. We were taken to the ER by ambulance and were checked out okay. I have a lawyer coming over tomorrow, but should I see a doctor before the lawyer comes? to have on record? Or does it matter, since they ER gave me a CAT scan? my daughter saw her doctor today and was fine. She also had a chest xray at the hosp. She is fine too. oh yes he was arrested and handcuffed but did not get a breath test. Do they do that at the station? I will call tomorrow to see if a report has been made yet?

I am looking for my 4 cousins..they are siblings. Tammy, Bobby(Robert), Jeanie and Jimmy(James) Miller. Their mother and father was James(jimmy)Miller and Brenda Miller from Sturgeon,Pa. Grandmother of us all was Esther Miller and Grandfather Connie Miller. We have all been looking for so long. They have several family members who love and miss them so much. I have court order not to pay child support, but my ex-wife ask for money all the time, so I still give her money because she says its for the kids. Now she says she is going to the child support office to get "what she deserves" According to her, she filed it already, but she still asks for money. Should i give her money still???????

OK, here's the story........my husband's mother loves to spend as much time with my 2 daughters as possible. She wants them to spend the night w/ her as often as possible. My oldest daughter is from a previous marriage, so she goes to her dad's every other weekend and 1/2 the summer. Because of this, she doesn't get to spend as much time w/ grama that my youngest daughter does. So she doesn't know her as well and sometimes feels uncomfortable around her. (Keep in mind, I've been remarried for 7 yrs) Last summer daughter #2 went to grama's all the time w/out sister. I said this summer my youngest isn't going w/out the oldest, because it isn't fair that one gets so much time w/ grama and the other doesn't. But is it fair to limit daughter # 2's time w/ grama just because daughter # 1 can't go as much? And I think the more time daughter # 1 spends with grama she will get to know her better and then be fine. But in the mean time, she doesn't want to go. Should I make her?

Im Jack and im 12 years old,Why do my parents treat me like im a baby or a little kid???...They always want to know where im going and when i will be back..I told my dad it was none of his buisiness and he said if I got an attitude with him again he was going to spank me...what a loser!!they are soo old they are 35 and 33...Old and they dont understand me HELP??

As soon as i get home i go in my room and lock the door. I only come out for dinner and i bring that in my room. For some reason i think my parents are a little dorky now. They make jokes that arent funny and stuff like that. I tried coming out to spend quality time with them and they watched TV shows that i hate. Sometimes they just go to sleep. So i come in my room and get on the computer and watch tv. I get really bored easily. What should i do to spend time with my parents on weekdays?

So i have been trying to gradually separate myself from my mom, just a little. I am 15 and we have been close forever, but i need my space. However, whenever i try to pull away she gets mad and tries to cling even more. I really don't want to tell her i am trying to separate, but i feel she is being irrational. SERIUOS RELATIONSHIP. ME AND MY BF IN SEPT GOT A HOUSE. HIS MOM WAS IN AND OUT OF TEMP POS. im a teen and my parents pasted away awhile ago. and im currently living with my grandmom. im often asked this "why do u live with your grandmom?" or "why dont u live with your mom?" or "where is your parents?", etc. im sure u get the point. well...THE QUESTIONS ARE REALLY ANNOYING. whenever i answer and say my mom pasted away. there is always a followup question like "for real, what happened?" i agreeded and made it clear that they were her kids. i don't mind helping to support them but i don't want the responsibility of making decisions or baby sitting for them. over time she has come to exspect me to do these things. we argue now instead of talking like we did before the kids moved in. 90% of the arguments have something to do with the kids. i love this woman but iam 50 years old i don't want to spend my days fighting with the one person i should be able to talk about everything with. should i move out and just see her as if we were dating or just break it off. My boyfriend and I have been together for over 5 years and have 1 child together (aged 3 yrs). We have discussed marriage in the past. Lately, I have been thinking that he is lying and stealing from me and my family. I honestly do not trust him anymore. We have broken up a total of 4 times before, within the 5 years we have been together. But the breakups have never lasted more then a month. This guy has cheated on me about 6 times that I can prove, and many more are rumored to have happened. But I keep taking him back because he is the father of my child, and I don't want him to come from a "broken home".

Should I stay in this relationship for my sons sake, or would he be better off if it was just me and him?

Also, should finances play a part in the decision, since my boyfriend completely supports both of us, and I am a stay at home mom?

my mom and dad gave a daughter up for adoption before i was born. all i know is what hospital she was born at. how can i find out more info if noone in my family will tell me anything. im assuming i would need her birthdate and then i could find her... is that all and how do i go about finding her??

SORRY ITS LONG!

I am 20 years old. I have been out of high school for a year now. My parents are SUPER STRICT. Lately i have been getting pressured to go to college, and blah blah. they seriously think i will be a piece of crap with my life if i dont. i work hard, and i make fairly good money. i just dont think that college is all the right for me.

Also:
I have a boyfriend now of 2 1/2 years. things are getting pretty serious. We would like to get married. maybe next year or so. But for some reason that is like the worst thing to my parents. they are driving me crazy. I Really want to move out and get on with my life. but i have a christian family, so i have to be married to live with a guy. or they will like disown me.

My parents have always given EVERTHING to me that i wanted. So i have that holding over my head.

I really dont know what to do! PLEASE HELP!

Me and my best friend have been close for 3 years. He's the one i can talk to about everything and i'm the only girl that can "open him up" (pretty lucky to have that considering the fact he's the "shy boy" private-person type). He's liked me all this time and just recently i started to develop feelings for him. We care for each other deeply but decided that if the right time came, it would just happen - no rush. Recently, we just lost someone we knew - he was very close to him. I know i'm not being a pushover and i don't wanna annoy him so i would (now and then) call and txt to see how he's doing.

Personally, I've been going through such a hard time with other things in my life (my lowest point) and I've been reaching out to him letting him know i'm there but i get nothing in return. I know i should't expect much but i feel hurt by what's going on between us - there's no communication. How can i reach out to someone if they're not even there?
