Okay, Iam 14 years old, so you think that my mom would treat me like a teenager? Wrong! She always tries to pay for me all the time and she treats me like a little kid! Also, Iam embarrassed to be in a car with her. She yells at the people who drive bad and I have to hear it. How do I get her to loosen up on me a little bit?

Oh yeah. She never takes me or my friends anywhere like to Walmart or anything, and we have a good car, but she makes a lot of excuses!

Also, when I tell her about my good grades she just says cool and doesn't even care.

Grow up. There are so many issues in the world worse than you and your friends not going to wal-mart. If you dont want your mom yelling at people in the car ask her to simply stop cause its giving you a headache. Get some perspective! You have a loving mother and you have friends and your mom pays for you. Dont be so ungrateful.

Oh Boo Hoo, let me get you a kleenex so you can blow your snotty nose. Grow up kid. There are worse things in the world than not going to Walmart with mommy. You could be in Africa and watching your mom die of AIDS and having to go with no food or home. Be thankful for the mom you have. She sounds nice. My mom was an alcoholic and the few times she was sober, she was miserable and abusive. There were no home cooked meals and no clean clothes to wear. We were the kids that everyone made fun of at school. We moved from apartment to apartment often in the middle of the night and the men came and the men went. Go give your mom a hug.

She cares and it sounds like she has stuff on her mind that she would rather not share with you.
Think of what life would be like if she wasn't there at all. Be thankful you have a Mother.
