This past Saturday we had a (sweet 16), after that we left to my mother in laws house and i feel asleep, anyways in the morning my 16 year old sister tells us that my mother in laws husband touched her in the way a 35 yr old man shouldn't.This is categorized as sexual abuse against a miner. So today I filed a report and the cop tells me that the detective will handel my case, and that after that he will ask me if I want to press charges. But in all this I have my other sisters and brother on the line with this my partners mom and her little sister. But my partners mom told her that she didn't want us in her house because we where lying. She decided to believe the guy instead of her daughter and my sister we have other witness and she still says that we are lying. My partner has been crying since that day her own mom told her that she wasen't her daughter any more.I don't know if I should keep going with the whole pressing charges on him. Please help me I want to do the right thing.

I can't stand this life. It sucks. My sister pours a jar of jam on me everyday. And when I wash it off I'll get grounded.
I'm planning to kill myself tomorrow. Any tips?
Overdose on aspirins??
Also, my teacher calls me a "fat tortoise" everyday. I feel so unwanted and unloved!

My mom and I have always been pretty close, but in the last 2 years she has been kind of draining me. She is very irresponsible and spends her money without thinking about paying her bills. My mother is a huge procrastinator and it sadly runs in my blood to but I have worked along time on trying to correct my procrastination and I have been doing awsome. She always tries to tell me how to parent my 3 children and even will tell them that they can do something right after she hears me tell them no. We rent the same barn and pasture where our horses stay, but I am always having to tell her they need hay(she buys the hay, I take care of watering, cleaning and feeding) and that her horse needs hooves trimmed and so on. Every time I talk about her, hear her voice, talk to her I end up feeling worse than I did before and completely drained. She always speeks in fact instead of opinion and constantly tells me how I should lead my life. What should I do?

My best friend's dad passed away late February from lung cancer. I have been best friends with her for over 11 years, since we were 5 years old. However since her dad passed she won't speak to me. I took basically a week off of school helping her and her mom with funeral plans and picture slide shows of this wonderful man. I worked the day that they had a party in celebration of his life, I held her mom when she cried, but my friend didn't cry but once in front of me. I really don't understand her ways of grieving. The man was like an uncle to me, a second father and her mother is my mother. And she is my sister. So not only did i lose a father, it's like i lost a whole part of my family. My friend won't answer the phone when i call her, and her mother won't answer my mothers. What can i do to help her? What can I do to have her back in my life?

My mom has been yelling at me (for simple things) ever since I was kid. Now i am 30 and she still does it. My brother does much bigger mistakes and she rarely notices it. I have tried my best to passify her but I am unable to change her, even a bit. Tried every trick in the book, but does work. I need advice pleaseeee :-(. By the way I am married for over 3 years and it is going on soo well.

I today have tried to reason with my parents to loosen up. My parents have a long list do nots that i can do. This includes going to the mall by myself or with friends, wearing makeup , dyeing hair, piercing ears, going to movies with friends, generally hanging out with my friends outside of school in general. They are paranoid about me getting kidnapped and don't trust my friends. When they need my help they tell me that i am old enough to become my dad's secretary and when i ask them for permission to hang out with my friends they dont let me. I know Chinese parents are very strict , but this is killing me.

Ok, I've been nagging my parents about getting me a cell phone. They both said "No!". I even gave them reasons. Like for emergencies, when I go out with friends, after school even when walking home from school. I've heard all about those child predetors and kidnappers. I mean I usally go to the mall with my friends almost every weekend and the mall doesn't have payphones. Heres also a little story the one time we went there. Me and 2 other girls were at the food court and there was some guy walking around with a video camera at first we thought he was doing something for like a school project because he looked about high school age. Well both my friends had to go to the bathroom. So I was standing out there waiting for them when the guy sits down and points his camera at me the whole time I was standing there. I was freaked out!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 12 and I do volleyball and cheerleading after school too. So like can people give me answer's PLEASE! Thanks.

Her and my dad have gone through some tough times lately. My dad had a stroke and heart surgery and he wasn't able to work causing them to be evicted from their home. My dad is in a rehab center after the heart surgery and my mom was supposed to go to a shelter.

My mom has history of emotional problems, depression, breakdowns, manic behavior. So much was dealt with by my sister and myself growing up (abuse from both parents). My mom was recently put into a psych ward for her depression and this makes me happy to know that she hopefully will get the care and rehabilation that she has needed for so long. Is this a normal feeling?

And even though I haven't spoken to her in so long, for good cause, I was thinking about sending her fowers anonymously for mothers day. Do you think this would be a good idea or push her over the edge? I really only want her to get better, even if I never speak to her again.

I need this done for my health class. Just simply answer your first thoughts, but please number your answers.

1) Before you became a parent, what were your expectations about babies, children, and the parenting process? Were they accurate? Why or why not?

2) How do you think the quality of parenting your own parents gave you affected your ability as a parent?

3) What was your child like as a baby? How do you think this affected your relationship with the child?

4) If you have more than one child, what effect did their births have on your expectations for them and your relationships with them?

5) Did you find it hardest to meed your child's physical, psychological, social, or intellectual needs? Why?

6) What style(s) of discipline did you use with your child(ren)? If you used more than one, which did you find to be most effective? Why?

7) If you are a single or remarried parent, what have been the hardest issues and problems you have faced as a result of this?

well my brother's friend was over, and my bro has been talking about going with his friend to FSU to keep their band going. this made me really mad, because we are really close, and now he wants to leave me and our family to go to some random college with his friend. so i started saying like 'what if your friend is a murderer, he could be the next dahmer and you wouldn't even know it.'
i only said that to try and stop him from going, which i guess i knew that it wouldn't stop him, but now his friend is really mad about it, and my brother like wont talk to me.
i didn't really mean to call him a dahmer, it was just out of anger.
now i don't want his friend to hate me forever, since i guess they will be friends for a long time.
please help!!

I live with my boyfriend, and his 7 year old son stays with us every other week. Problem is, he's always seemed to be lacking in manners and it just seems to be getting worse as we get older. We go out to a Mexican restaurant and he screams "these chips are DISGUSTING!" If someone gives him a gift that he doesn't like he'll roll his eyes, make a face, and drop it on the floor. The other day, his father tells him he needs a moment to speak with me, and he walks out of the room saying "I HATE her, she ruins everything!" It's really starting to piss me off. If I'm eating something he wants, he'll grab it or demand it, and if his father tells him no, he screams that I "never share" (not true, I actually buy most of the food for the house). The father tries to coo at him into behaving, but he never listens and is never disciplined. I'm going crazy and just might snap at him myself soon. Help!!

If you lived with your boyfriend and his children and he happens to have a 17 year old daughter and you guys get along great. One day she comes to you and tells you she no longer is a virgin and etc. And you tell her that you will never tell her dad because her dad is a control freak and he would eventually kick her out the house. So.. one day you come from work to find out she has moved out with her mother. Now that thing that she told you is burning you because you know she's going to do it again. And to prevent her from getting pregnant you tell her dad.. And her dad tells her mother and now she hates you... What do you do ?
