Thats so messed up my dad loves my sister more than my mom does and he loves me just as much as my mom

I'm sure there are some fathers out there that love their child the way a mother would, but i don't think it is typical. I think a father develops different kinds of bonds with a child than a mother would.

i understand this to mean that a father doesn't love his children"as much" as a mother can. if that's the case,your girlfriend is an idiot. mothers are no better or worse in their love for their children.it may be a bit different simply b/c she is a woman as we think differently then men but, to say it's a better or more intense love than a father is rubbish.

Mother's are more concerned about family, and feel an attachment to their children that is different from how a father can love his children.

Not really, It is a tendency that females are more emotionally in touch with the childs feelings due to females being more emotional in general but that does not mean that guys cannot obtain the same connection.

My theroy is that if you spend more time with the child he will bond with you, regardless of who you are. In that way we are not much different :)

Absolutely not. Some fathers are far more nurturing than mothers. It depends on the people involved. Your friend is stereotyping.

I don't know about right but, A mothers bond is stronger because they do carry you for nine months.
