Missing a loving Wife.

Happiness is a state of mind - you are the one responsible for your happiness.
You say that you don't have a loving family, take a look at the family that you have, your mom, your dad, brothers or sisters etc. Do your personal best to make each person happy in your family. Sometimes by making other people happy, you make yourself happy.
Everybody feels as though there is something missing in their lives at some point. Some people fill that emptyness with religion, others with money, and others with relationships. I fill my emptyness with spiritual beliefs, building positive relationships with people and working hard at everything I do.

Because the most important thing in the world is still missing. If I had the choice of being where I am now with my family or someone giving me a billion dollars and I'd never be able to have any contact at all with my family, then I'd stay. No question, no debate.

I think you still feel unhappy my friend, because family life is the first relationship we have at birth. I think that we remember these first relationships, and we crave them...and since yours is not a positive and happy family life - you feel a deep loss.

My advice is this, build your own family - made up of beloved friends. Also, try charity or community work to fill that void...it's easier said than done, I know...but you have to try and build the life and relationships you desire and need.

You need a pat on the back and you're not getting it.

Got it.

Find hobbies or activities you like doing and take pride in your accomplishments even though no one else compliments you or gives you praise.

Laugh, smile, get enthusiastic and passionate about music, games, people, etc.
Watch comedies, watch how other people make fools of themselves and stop being so hard on yourself by being too serious.

Have fun and don't worry about what others think!

it's not like SOMETHING is missing. You already said that you have everything you wanted - EXCEPT a loving family. THAT's what is missing. THE FAMILY.
