You probably don't want to hear this, but you are a very lucky person to have a mom that cares about you that much. Of course it's irrational, she's a mom. Just be thankful that you have a mom that cares about you, even if it sucks. I got sent away to boarding school my senior year of highschool just because I snuck out of the house a few times. Trust me I tried to talk her out of it. The school was in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina and just about every single freedom I had was taken away from me. It took me a very long time to forgive her. I fought it tooth and nail and of course I lost. I still question to this day if she did the right thing, I'm 22 and a junior in college. Regardless of whether it was the right thing or not, she did it out of love and I can't stay mad at her for that

She's really worried about you. Overall, I think you should stop fighting at school. Your aggressive behavior is not good for society. If you keep this up in the future, you may end up in jail. Moving to California won't solve this problem.
I would advise for counseling. Adults get this to. There's something in you that is angry and waiting to get out. And right now, you need help. Seek help immediately.

Whoa..... that sounds just like Fresh Prince of Bell-Air!!
Sorry 'bout that.
But! Tell her you'll never fight again. Dump any boyfriend you might have, wearing very decent clothes, study hard and get better scores on your tests. That's all i can give, i don't know you or your mom.
omg.. that sounds so amazingly like Fresh Prince of Bell-Air I can't stand it o.o

She loves you. Parents have a tendancy to overreact. Give it a few days and if the problem continues to persist, reassure her that your old enough to deal with these things on your own.

Sarah your mom loves you so she is afraid that something bad could happen to you and she only wants you to be safe. Stay out of trouble and maybe this will blow over.

That sounds real extreme to me. Sounds like your mom is suffering from some form of insecurity. This sounds extremely overprotective.

think, what can you say to calm her down. Then just start talking. She might not get it at first but I guarantee it'll bounce around in there and breed some serious thought.
