People do die, but spirits are still here. sometimes they are here to finish up and sometimes they are here to look after loved ones. She may be here to guide you in the right direction. Also, she may want you to feel her presence. You may feel better when she is around.

For me, my mother will always/forever still alive in my heart. i also feel the same like you, i always think my mum still watching or accompany me when i was alone in every quiet places. this is what i'm feel.
