Why do you think we would have the answer to a question you would have been better to ask her? And why assume that it must be a material thing that got her interested in this person? Is she such a materialistically inclined person and if so, what attracted you to her? If your answer is her body, or some other shallow type of answer, you could be sure that it is that person's mind that attracted her! For the fact that he might have recognized hers??? It's really hard to tell why people do the things they do when there is so much we don't know!

They both suffer the same ailment so, I think they understand each other better. They know exactly how each other feel. Its not the age or money. Understanding and acceptance is very important factor in a relationship. (even acceptance of any form of handicap)

I suspect she finds him mentally stimulating as he has 20 years experience of life more than you and I respectfully suggest there were and have been other issues between you for some time now and this meeting him just triggered off a "way out" as she sees it.

I expect it has nothing to do with age but possibly the excitement of a new relationship combined with the attention that he has bestowed upon her. Maybe he makes her feel like a woman and not a wife or a mother....

I suppose that they understand each other's epiliepsy and share that bond between them. I suppose that they cant get that sort of understanding from non-sufferers no matter how hard they try.
And it's the exctiement of a new relationship and the fact that they're new to each other that probably excites her

hey why do you all presume its about money? i'm only 30 and i'm in love with a 59 year old man, not because of money, but because as an older man he has learn't how to respect, be loyal and listen. He is very supportive and patient and he accepts me for who i am! Thats worth more than any amount of money as far as i'm concerned.

How was her relationship with her father? Sometimes it is because she wants a father-figure in her life. And perhaps she is really attracted to him...who knows why people are attracted to each other!

well i'm 43 and i am with a 57 year old.....i prefer older men because they are more mature and sensible and respectable, not because theres money involved...i don't know why your missus prefers him to you, that's something you need to ask her....sorry about your break up....i have been with my partner for 11 years, not everythings based on money...maybe she just likes him for who he is and the way he treats her
