Hr friends daughter is supose to visit during Christmas break, but she really does not seem to happy to be coming. She is 14. Is it just her age, or it just a drag to visit out of state during break and leave all her friends. He wants her enjoy her visit, but if she is just coming because she feels she has to, he would rather she tell him the truth and stay at home and enjoy her holiday with her friends. What should he do?

My aunt was found dead at 53 on 10-11-06 @ 6:30 am by her husband. It was ruled she had a heart attack. But received a bill of good health the morn she died. 5 days b4 she died her daughter said her step-dad beat her so bad she could not get out of bed 4 the 5 days. the morn she was found my uncle said he woke up and went 2 do his normal routine. He then gave my cousin the keys 2 her moms jeep & told her 2 take it 2 work & lock keys in the jeep. He walked her outside, 2 make sure she got in and left. My aunt always took her 2 work so why was this day dif. My mom went over & found my aunt laying in the fetal possition & her body was now a blk color. My mom noticed the pillow on the bed had some black stuff on it. Through out this all there has been several stories told by my uncle about how he found her. We think he smoothered her 2 death. Why did her body turn blk? What can we do? Please give me some good advise. Its killing the family.

People always tell me to mind my own business when it comes to these things. But I love my girlfriend, my father, and my mother very much. I'm afraid that I'll break apart the family. I feel bad that my girlfriend dumped me to pursue my father, and that my father is cheating on my mother with a woman 25 years younger than him. What should I do? I don't want to make my mother cry!

Lately I have been feeling this intense hatred towards my father. He has not done anything to deserve this and yet I cannot seem to get over it. It is so bad that I cannot even look him in the face. What is wrong with me? Is this normal?

My husband and I went away for the weekend to have some time to our selves. My sister wanted to stay with our kids so she could spend some time with them. I have a on-line casino game on my laptop, where I play for real money. I deposited $100.00 and had it up to a little over $2800. My sister asked me if she could play. And I told her yes, BUT if she started to lose don't lose stop when she was down $200. She kept playing and lost all of the $2800. I got mad and chewed her butt out over it. But My husband thinks she should pay me back for what she lost. I know she has had a hard time this year went through a divorce (Her Choice) And her ex has a new wife and a baby on the way, she is really upset about that. We also lost our Grandma just this month. I feel bad for what she has been through. I did tell her she could play but I also set a limit. She is 32 and old enough to know what she is doing. And is pulling dumb stuff alot lately. What would you do??? I am tired of letting her slide

My uncle is turning 50 next month and I don't know what to get him. He loves fishing, he's into all the fishing sport, etc. He lives on a ranch with a bunch of dogs, pigs, chickens, etc. He's a very cool guy. I don't want to go to the ordinary of getting him clothes or anything along those lines. 50 is suppose to be a very grand age and I'm not sure what to get him to match the grand event. Please share if you can, thanks!

I am 23 now and my sister is 18 but during our childhood and still to this day she is favored way more. She is favored more financially, and everything she does with her life they love but me completely opposite. I have had to support myself solely since 16 and they hate every decision I make for my life..and they aren't all bad decisions. I mean they hate my career(Im an accountant), they hate my fiance(he's great)and they think I had my daughter to young(just had her a few months ago) ( I thought only I saw it but other family members agree) How to confront parents on this? It hurts and is unfair but I dont know the best way to say it. I mean its not like Im a screw up so why such negativity to me. ( also forgot to mention when I say parents its my biological dad and stepmom, and my sister is their biological daughter.)
HELP! Feelings are so hurt!

My x owed me $1795.00 in back child support. There was a period of two years where he did not pay. I was a single mom working 3 jobs, but managed to survive. Now the tables have turned I am making good money and he is not doing so well. I have recently forgiven him $1759.00 in back support and paid his light bill of $300.00. The problem is my daughter will go to college next year and I am wondering if I did the right thing because now I am not sure how I will pay for her to go to school. Any coments?

He wants to protect all that he will "inherit" from his family.

We are both 20 years old, and I find it absurd to sign pre-nups at our age when our only assets are our cars.

Any suggestions! please!

No disrespect, but I'm curious.
Ex: nagging, pet peeves, etc.
It may have gotten on our last nerves at the present time, but looking back, it made you laugh.

I am married & have 3 boys. A 13, 11,& 6 year old. We have no family close by. My husbands freind brings his 5 year old play 6yr old son, while my hus(Rob). and Jeff hang out. Anyhow. Jeff said it would be ok if my son (Robert) could stay the night with Jaden the following Saturday. My son was thrilled. It was his 1st time ever staying the night with a freind. A week passes he spends the night, 7 had a great time. Jeff told Rob that he thought he heard Robert say something inapropriat.. He heard Robert Say to Jaden( his son) "Aww don't stick your weiner in my mouth" Of course he stopped him. But when I ask him about it he admitted it. I ask where he seen or heard it he said he had a dream about a girl at school and a bunch of other girls all stuck there weiners in this boys mouth at the same time. He swears he never seen or heard it ever, except the dream. He says he's been thinking about it alot. He knows now its wrong. I can't honestly understand why the dream. HELP!!

I'm married to a wonderful man, who unfortunately is just like his mom. My husband has 2 younger brothers, the youngest I am REALLY close with. I consider him my brother. He's a US Marine (served in Iraq and is now in Okinowa, Japan) he's seriously dating a Filapino girl. I'm happy for him, the rest of the family is concerned to the point of being unsupportive (because we are Christians and the girl he's dating is not a Christian) I'm happy for my brother, I want to be there for him. The rest of the family (remember this is my HUSBAND'S family) thinks he's making a big mistake, turning his back on them, etc. This is a problem between my husband and myself (because I'm supportive, he is not towards his brother in this matter!) Should I just keep my silence and be supportive of my brother still or side with my husband?! I'm at a total loss!

my husband and I were seperated and he passed away . His mother without letting me know he passed away filed and was granted guardianship of our children within days of his death without letting me know. She claims we were not married and I have the documents to prove we were. Can she do this and not be challenged?

I hate to think the worst, but something just isn't right. He's 16, she is 14, and they are always together, he bosses her around like he owns her and she listens to him. No matter how mean he is, she forgives him and sticks up for him. He picked a fight with his father when she was sent to her room for being disrespectful. I just notice things that don't look right. Last night he was laying in her bed with her sleeping, and my husband had to wake him up and tell him to go to his own bed. Do you think I am making too much of it?
