you cannot always be right and if you start your story by saying your brother is in the wrong all the time - that's a negative beginning for your parents to hear. instead of saying who is to blame - just explain the situation (the way it really happened) and let your parents decide. if they still don't listen to you, explain to them, that your feelings are really getting hurt and as your mom and dad they should be listening to both sides without showing any favoritism.

Could be that they favor your brother...hate to say it but parents do have favorites but don't give up trying to be heard...and try not to make it about sibling rivalry it' ll only make it worse....I'm not saying that they love your brother more they just love him differently... from you....sometimes parents don't realize they are doing it but they tend treat each child differently...Good luck and I hope they decide to hear your side for once.
