Lately I have been feeling this intense hatred towards my father. He has not done anything to deserve this and yet I cannot seem to get over it. It is so bad that I cannot even look him in the face. What is wrong with me? Is this normal?

Your feelings could be a phase of growing up and seperating yourself from your parents. You should try and appreciate your dad while you can.For almost two years I barely spoke to my dad just because he got on my nerves.He has now been dead for three years and I would give anything to get back those two wasted years.Don't let this drag on too long because it will ultimately hurt you both.All people have flaws .Try to see him as a whole person not just as a dad.

Yes there is something wrong, are you jeleoous of him for some reason, I think sometimes guys get to an age they feel like they dont need a dad figure and want to grow up. try being his friend. so stuff with him.

I don't know why you feel the way you do but I can tell you to get over it. You never know which day is going to be your last... I found out the hard way.

well yes its normal its a phase that u will get tthrough sometime u need to get away make sure u let him know so he wont take it offensive he will understand!

Maybe you sence something is wrong.Maybe he is going to do something really bad that you will hate him for. Maybe you are insane.
