This guy used to be mad after her but she never took him as a bf kind. They became good friends though. But I have never liked the guy as person too. He is a snob, arrogant and what not. I even know that he had almost brought her to tears a few times. Now, sometimes when she mentions him in our conversations, i find myself at a complete loss for words. I wonder if she has noticed, but I'm not able to tell her that I don't like her talking about the guy. What should I do?

I am into this girl. We've gone on a probably 3 dates and have another planned... So I like to think shes interested too... now should I just be blunt and say "As you can see, I'm into you.. I jsut wanna make sure we're both in the same boat and you have that interest in me as well..." or something like that or should I just go with the flow? Can you give me some ideas as to what I should say or when I should say it?? thanks a ton

Right now i have a 79% in math. My dad said i could get a blackbery pearl for my birthday but i picked out an ipod instead. He said I'd have to wait till Christmas for the phone. Now hes saying i have to get my grade up in math before I get the phone.!! Is that fair? Because he promised for Christmas that I could get it? Just want your opinion.

I 'm not sure whose fault was this but here let me explain real quick: My Boyfriend and I live together for 6 mos. now. In October his sister stayed with us. We talked about it and agreed that he is gonna shoulder the 'extra' expenses when she comes in.And now he's telling me that I am nagging him about not being able to save for our wedding and he is telling me that Im treating him like trash. I dont even talk about being fair in the share(bills and rent and food). Sometimes I shoulder everyhting w/out asking for anything in return. i just think i didnt have to spend for his sister bec. we are not married yet and she's 27, too old for to help her out. i mean...she can't even find a decent job...so now he's threathening me that i'm gonna spend Christmas alone coz they'll be out of the house. He said we should only be together after the wedding but i dont wanna marry him no more.prob is we have invited people to come to our wedding...HELP.

This is only a question, I am not marries, but I know many women who are and have been cheated on by their husbands. I was having a conversation with someone a long time ago and they said "Sometimes, it takes strength to stay".

I've been through alot in my life and I agreed with the above statement to an extent. I've been cheated on by a boyfriend, which hurt like hell, but I don't think it would hurt any MORE if he had been my husband, because I feel regardless, the person you are with is supposed to love you right? Husband, fiance, boyfriend. Whatever title they have, betrayal is betrayal right?

I just don't like the idea of MY man sleeping with another woman, then coming home and smiling in my face, like he's happy with me and I would imagine that it would be hard for me to sleep with him and look at him the same way. Not only that, but I hate coming in 2nd place and feeling like a side dish to someone that I am giving my all to. Would you stay and try again, or leave? Honestly.

ok heres a question, im curious, which one of these girls would you choose? it may sound biased but this is all i know about the people. and you can judge the names too.

1. Tesla-about 4'11 and 90 lbs and already has a baby, pretty much a ho who will sleep with anyone, does ok in school, can be fun to be around, not too funny and talks a lot about people, thinks shes tough, changes loyalty really easily, basic gangsta girl

2. Carmen- about 5'6" and 130lbs with a really crazy personality, can be really spontaneous and perverted, really funny, friendly, not at all shy, up for pretty much anything, but wont sleep around, (only been with one guy) although shes pretty cute, really loyal friend, but choosy and doesnt like fake

i have this male friend and he has been seriously upsetting me for awhile now. I have formed a small crush on him which i wouldn't have if he hadn't thrown signals out that he was interested in the beginning. like a drunken one night stand, wanting to take our relationship slow, and we did make out while we were sober. he is just getting out of a long relationship and has told my friend that he is torn about his feelings for her. he tells me he is not attaracted to me in that way. i have tried to change my feelings for this man but, whenever i get close he sucks me back in. he saw me and my now ex fighting one nite and after staring at me for 3 min he turns and just walks away. he then told me that he saw us but since we are still friends it didn't matter. and last night he pissed me off when we were iming i asked him to hang with me and my friends for new years eve because i trusted him and didn't want to spend it alone. he gets all quiet changes the subject and then refuses

I met a girl in July (she is 27, I am 37) and we have been in touch by phone and email until recently (October) that we saw each other again. We have gone to dinner, theatre and gone hiking. We have met up in night clubs and we seem to have good chemistry so far. I have not kissed her yet but we exchange hugs when we see each other. She knows that I am interested in her and we are getting to know each other.

She is in real estate is and works all the time. She lists houses for her business and I want to get her a gift for Christmas.

I want to get her a GPS system for her car. Nothing too expensive, under $200. I do not want to give candy or anything like jewelry, etc. at this time. I think she would really find the GPS useful.

What I want to know is whether this is a lame gift, useless, meaningless or does it show that I think about her and her work and want to give her something useful. Or should I hold back and give something else? Any ideas either way?

Does he LOVE me or does he just LOVE NOT being single? I have heard from some friends that he has asked them to be is girlfriend too. He's 17, im two years younger. We had a really good relationship but he's such a player and has a reputation for being a jerk. We broke up but he will IM me randomly and ask me if i would ever date his friend, or ask me about a guy he heard i hooked up with. He called me and asked me to hang out last weekend and we havent talked on the phone since we broke up. I thought he was sort of kidding so i didnt take him seriously and was just like yeah ok whatever. I was w/ my bf for 2 months when he broke up w/ me. It has been almost 2 weeks since the breakup. I know 2 months isn't a very long time but I am heartbroken and miss him so much. The reason he wanted to end things was b/c things were moving very quickly and our feelings for each other were very strong in such a short amount of time. He said this really scares & overwhelms him. He is also in school ful time and works part time. Things were working great but I think it all just got too much for him and he freaked out and got scared. Before me, he had been single for over 2 years and I think being w/ me took him out of his comfort zone. He also has issues w/ women and really has his guard up (his mom is mentally ill & is very needy of him, his dad is on his 3rd marriage and they have all been gold-diggers, his ex gf of over 2.5 years cheated on him and left him for an older rich guy). So I do understand why his defenses are up.

well i just graduated this year 07 from highschool and of course people have just finished there 1 semester in college as a freshmen. well alot of people ask me how come you didnt go to college. well the reason i didnt go is because i wanted to work first to help my mom out. i dont tell people that because my mom makes 15.60 an hour but by me not working in highschool i had senior expenses and my mom is a single parent. well 15.60 is good money for someone with just an hs diploma but she has fallen behind on bills becuase of things that came up with me. she was even mad i didnt go off to college but i told her i wont ever settle for less in life. i just want to know is it ok for me to care like i do? i mean hopefully once i work and get things caught up with her i can leave her alone but i just feel bad because if it wasnt for things i needed she wouldnt be behind in bills.

I am 32 years old. I have been best friends with Alisa for 10 years now. Over time, she has gradually just gotten meaner and more selfish. Little things here and there she would do or say that were just totally rude. Last night she again was completely impolite to me, after I brought her an expensive gift and everything...

I emailed her today just saying... "you know what? Lets not continue our friendship"

Has anyone ever been thru a big "friend-breakup" and can you tell me when it stops hurting, and how you got thru it?

Sometimes you just have to move on from a friend, and leave them in your past- this is definately one of those situations.

DH and I have an 8yr old son- he is a stepson to DH. DH and I have a 2yr old daughter. We have only been married 4 years and DH parents (his dad is his stepdad) have never wanted our son to call them anything other than their first names.
Our families have feuded for the last three years and they have just now started to get to know DD in the last 6 months. Our DD calls MIL- "Abuella" not by our doing but she did it on her own, courtesy of Dora the Explorer. MIL hates being called Abuella (we are not spanish in decent, nor is MIL) She called yesterday and said she wants DD to call her "mama nay" I politely told her that I don't like "mama" as part of the grandparent name. That is what DD calls me and it is seems very confusing.
She told me that was too bad because she and her two daughters (my SILS) want her to be called that when they have children and she doesn't want the children to have different names for her.
What is the best way to tell her no and let DD "name" her?

The feeling's mutual: I like him and he likes me.. except for there's a little distance between us (about 10 hours). Last night we were talking and he said how his couch and bed smelled like sex and cigarettes. so I was like, "lovely". And I was on webcam and he said I had a look of jealousy. Why would he tell me that he had sex with another girl if he claims to like me? He said he's liked me for a while now. He was like, "I want to get to know you better. I've liked you a while now, don't let the perpetual horniness fool you". Any thoughts? Was he just trying to see my reaction to see how much I liked him or something? And it's not a secret that he wants to have sex with me, but he respects the fact that I'm still a virgin and knows I wouldn't have sex with anyone unless I was in a relationship.
