I don't want an actual ceremony, and my fiance' is cool with that. But my mom really really wants me to have it. She is so proud of this moment, and wants to help every step of the way, which is understandable. But I don't see myself having a ceremony. I understand it could be something small, but I also can't see myself doing that. My fiance doesn't care one way or the other. But even if I did have one, our family stays so far apart, and I hate to make other people go out of their way. I have friends here in Ga, his family is in SC, and mine are in NC. Also we have trouble keeping up with his (my fiance) mom, and I know for a fact he would want her to be a part of it.
I am also trying to put myself in my mom's position to see how I would feel if it were my child.

Ladies: Do you categorize a 'hot guy' (someone you're physically attracted to) as dateable or someone you would prefer to have a one night stand with? Or do you prefer to look and be more compatible with the person you're in a relationship with (in other words, you could care less about looks but just enjoy looking at the guy)?

The other night this guy grabbed my one of my boobs. I yelled at him but then he texted me last night and was like: I wanted to get with you the other night and I liked grabbing you. Looking back I can see where I ignored all the red flags, so try not to beat me up here. I know...

A part of me feels flattered that this guy worked so hard to hook me in, but another part of me just feels angry, vengeful, and obsessed. I am no angel here. I flirted with him too, but it turns out that our romance meant more to me than it did to him. Grrrr...

Have you been there? How did shake off these negative feelings?

If I can let go of this negativity and stop beating up on myself, then at least I will unblock and write and sing about my experience. Right now I just want to expose the guy and strangle him. Not good...:)

i'm a single black male with a single white companion/roomate who is quadreplegic with a special shower chair. i bathe him daily but never together but since they are rationing water does it make me gay to join him in the shower, with his special shower chair, with me on the bottom and him on the top...to save water.

My husband and I try to split up all of our holidays between our families. For the past 3 years we've always gone to his side of the family for Christmas Eve/Morning as they usually plan big events, whereas my family is more laid back and intimate. This year his mother told every one to do what they wanted, when secretly she meant she wanted us to come to her mother's house to see her brother we've never met. I'm ok with that except for the fact that she did the typical woman thing and said one thing but really meant another, and then got mad when no one was able to read in between the lines. So now the decision has basically been made for us that we are going to be there. I haven't been able to share Christmas Eve/morning with my family in a few years and now feel aggravated that I won't be able to again this year. My parents have been through a lot of hell this year...and even a near divorce. They are doing much better and I'm feeling disgruntled that we aren't going to be there.

I am getting ready to leave my boyfriend of almost 2 yrs, we have a beautiful baby boy together. I truly love him, but he can not seem to stop running around on me, and I can not sit around and be hurt any longer. My 2 brothers are sold on A.A. not that it is a bad thing. But they live and breathe this stuff to the point of thinking people are'nt that well together unless they are involved in this program. I used to drink alot but changed my life and work on my spiritual program, which works so well for me. I tried A.A. but it made me feel guilty everytime i would do a meeting. I mean this is like 3 yrs. sobriety. Eveyone kept telling me you have to do this or this will happen, but you have to think for yourself not constantly be told what someone thinks you need to do to be o.k. But my brothers are so brain washed that they don't see how closed minded they are. Anyway has anyone felt this way also?

!!ok...its really getting on my nerves!!

he acts silly like he will promise me dinner and then spend our dinner money on crap, then he says woops afterwards. it also seems like whenever he goes to see his family and i ask him a question he blows up at me and then we are mad during the holidays? i dont get it? what is wrong with this man? how do i deal with this?

Make a long story short my husband and I got a divorce almost 4 years ago over money and family issues, I got married again he didn't. Back in June he came to me all teary eyed wanting me back ( he knew my new hubby and I were having issues). He went on and on about it being better this time and looking for rings etc. Well I came back and now he tells me he loves me daily but there is no more discussion about marriage or the future and the same issues with his family are still there. My mom is close to him and says he is just being cautious but I feel like he is using me to get out of childsupport and to have the kids here 24/7. He treats me good, is a great dad and we are happy for the most part but I need marriage and to feel like he is really committed to this. Am I wrong here or what it has been almost 7 months since I came back. He knows I need medical insurance which he can get at work but wont committ to anything. I have MS and the stress is getting to me. HELP

i have a really close friend, we are always together and i like him, we have a really comfortable relationship like no personal space or anything, and it has always been like that between us, neither of us really cares when people touch us, i sit on his lap and he hugs me and stuff and we are just really affectionate, we always say we are married and stuff like that

And told me that he was going to be in the area at christmas to visit some friends and family. He asked if he could stop by on christmas to visit my daughter( shes 3)
I said fine, but I don't know if it would be best for her, I mean he raised her since she was a months old, but no him coming back into her life again I dont know if its the ideal situation.
