im really good with helping people out when it comes to relationships and helping my friends.

but there is this guy, we were together for two years and he ended the relationship. we still talk and he claims we are friends, but we go trough these stages like he will talk to me for like two week, but then not talk to me at all for like a month.

You're probably a nice guy but girls aren't attracted to nice guys. People always want what they can't have. She already knows she can have you and this bores her.

It's like a cat with a piece of string. Wave it over the cat's head, just out of reach and the cat will go insane trying to get it, but if you let the cat have it, it will look at it for a minute and then walk away bored.

You have to be more unpredictable. Jerks are unpredictable, that's why they get girls. But you don't have to be a jerk, just be interesting and challenging..."

FYI, I am interesting and have lots going for me. Is he suggesting I become an act? Why be someone Im not to impress a girl?

My mother in law makes me very angry. I stay away from her as much as possible not because I hate her but because when I am around her I feel very upset at the things she says and does to me. Both my husband and I have talked with her about her behavior and how it hurts us but she refuses to stop. She is terribly critical, on top of always trying to tell me what to do and making rude comments she is like a broken record. My husband and I want me to be a SAHM, we do not like daycare for very small children, but she insists that I am not smart enough to teach and stimulate her as a daycare would. I have a chemistry degree, anthropolgy and library degree and I did well in school. I am no genius but I think I am bright enough and read to daughter and do educational things with her in the home. She insults just about everything about me and sometimes I border on hating her but she does have a few redeeming qualities so I really just find her a pest. I wish I knew what to do or say?

im a junior now bt when i was a freshman i went out with this kid that was a sophmore we only went out twice there were like dates without importance but i kissed him after that we didnt talk much we never saw each other in school or anything then this he got a gf n i got a bf too we forgot about each other we didnt talked for a whole year but we had a really close friend in common almost at the end of my sophmore year we started talking again then last summer i went to my friend's pool and i met his gf but she wasnt going out with him but she was talking to him w.e we became really close friends and when school started since he always hanged out with her i became close friends with him too he wanted to go back with her but she had doubts because he cheated on her with another girl and i knew because i knew the girl he cheated with
he started asking me for advise and to help him to get her back and i helped him and now they're back together and we're all really good friends

I know that some aspects of my life are their business as well as mine, but my mom especially seems to be controlling everything and every detail of my life (or trying to). I get grounded for weeks at a time, all for "having an attitude" where my younger sister is five times as bad and never gets grounded; I have been a dancer for eleven years (since I was three) and my parents told me that if I "mess up" one more time that I will be forced to quit. It's hard because majority of the time I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong; if my mom or dad yells at me I ALWAYS say okay, I'll do better next time, and I'm sorry but they think that has an attitude and they ground me and often slap me. My boyfriend thinks I need to move out, but I don't know where to go and I don't know if I've done everything that I possibly can with my parents. Help me? :(

do you and your hubby sleep in the same room/bed. I am hearing more and more often about couples that don't share the same room cause either the husband snores or one of them keeps the otherone awake. I am not saying that it has anything to do with the relationship, these are ppl that have a really good relationship but like sleeping alone cause they get better rest. My husband is a horrible snoring but we are a young new couple just wondering if others will think this is odd if we don't have the same room, like when my daughter is grown will she think we are freaks haha. Just wondering.

don't get me wrong i love my mates but they make me feel so bad!! I live for footy (im a female btw) i train 3 times a week and play on sats and sun, so i never socialise with them so that annoys them, telling me there more to life but to me there not!!! i also dress different im into the typical rock music and dress sense so wen they see me they look at me like im a freak, it knocks my confidence! i dont like seeing them out of school anymore cause of they way they act, looking at "hot boys" ect they dont care about my football, even wen i was in hospital with a broken foot from a match? whats wrong?

MY BOYFRIEND'S EX GOT PREGNANT WITH ANOTHER MANS BABY AND LEAD HIM TO BELIEVE IT WAS HIS UNTIL SHE WAS 8 MONTHS OLD..... Im 14 (i know im really young) well two years ago i met this guy and i liked him but never had the nerve to tell him so we remained friends but got closer and just recently decided we'd be boyfriend and girfriend but before we decided that he moved to new mexico so we are now far away. My boyfriend and I have a great relationship, but he recently told me that he's been sleeping with his ex, and he keeps debating whether or not he should stay with me or go back to her. This boy is amazing, and I keep forgiving him when he tells me about his cheating. Honestly, I don't know what to do. He's perfect, but he keeps changing his mind, putting me on an emotional roller coaster that I could do without, but I think he's 100% worth every bit. In the past, he's told me about how much was wrong with his ex, but when she finds out that he's with me, she comes back and steals him away.

So I met this guy named Adam. He works at the movies and his dad and mine are friends. My mom likes him a lot and says he's a nice guy and all but my dad absolutely hates him. And he's not done anything to him...ugh. Well, he calls me everyday and I always see him at the movies. The thing is he is enlisted in the military to be a marine and he's already went to basic training and all and when he graduates this year he is going in or whatever. I really really like him but I don't know if I should get involved or not because my dad hates him and he is leaving to go to Iraq in June. I don't know what to do!? Ideas? Oh yeah, and he is about to turn 18 in February and I just turned 15 like 2 weeks ago.
