i'm a senior in high school, and i'm applying to colleges. i have a huge deadline in a week, where three apps are due.

today, my mother woke me up and told me she was cleaning the garage and needed my help. i helped her for like an hour, but after that, i started telling her that i needed to work on my apps because of the deadline.

she got so mad! she started yelling about how i didn't love her because i wouldn't help her, and that even if i got into a college, i would flunk out and end up working in some low-salary job.

she started talking about how poorly i did in school [i've always done well in school, except for my junior year in hs because i took really hard courses] and how i never do any work [but i always clean the house and whenever she had a deadline for her schoolwork, i took over her responsibilities so she wouldn't have to worry].

should i apologize, or just ignore her? i'm scared that what she said about me never being successful will come true.

Okay. So I liked this guy a long time ago, but then I didn't see him for a very long time. Out of sight, out of mind, right? But then he started dating my BEST best friend and I like him again.

Sometimes it seems like he likes me back, too. But I've never had a boyfriend before so I really don't know what to do.

I have to change out of my hockey gear in a very open area with the other coaches and players (I'm a coach). One of the other coaches, a guy in his early, early twenties loves to tease and make me mad (you know, they act much like High School boys). Anyway, when he took his shirt off to change it, his boxers showed. I told him to pull his pants up and he did it! It surprised me like you wouldn't believe. But, he did add the comment, "I think some girl needs to get her own locker room."

Just thought I would ask what this could imply. Thanks!

I was drinking my drink yesterday and this guy grabs it from me and gives me a sheepish look half smile. I told him he could have a sip, if he wanted. He also hugged me the first day he really met me. He went up and said, "Lizzie?" Me-"Yeah?" Him-"Hi." And when I went over to him with his friends he gave me a hug to give him food. He's also sort of touchy. Does this mean anything or is he just super friendly?

I feel really bad. I was cleaning my house for my mom and dads anniversery. I was organizing all of her pictures, witch all year she has been talking about needed to be done. I getting all of the picutes from under her dresser [[hard to explain what her dresser is like]] and In the cabinet I found my presents. I didn't know what it was! Really! I was looking at them, just thinking it was some of my moms things, and i didn't relize what they where until i had looked at like half of them. Its really bad because I was just critisising my sister at dinner last night, because i brought up to my parents how she had been snooping for presents. I feel REALLY guilty! Should I tell my parents? Im afraid i'll get in trouble for looking. help!

My mother in law showed up at our house yesterday unannounced which is fine, she doesnt do it often and right away she started trouble with me. I believe its because we were on our way out and in her mind thought she would spend time with our son, which obviously wasnt going to happen as we were literally getting in the car, this set her off. She called me a druggie..not true.. my husband called her on this and she said she didnt know what drugs, then said I was fooling around on my husband, again not true to which my husband got upset about and then she proceeding to call me a whore and rip a cross that I was wearing on a necklace off my neck.
My question is...would you let your son around this woman even tho its his grandmother, my son is not very old but if she says these things to start trouble, not only to me, but infront of her son, my neighbours and infront of our son, does it not make you wonder what she would say to my child about me when I'm not around...whats your thoughts

After 10 years of unhappy marriage, I want out.... but my husband won't leave or do anything. I can't stand it, I feel so trapped, it is really doing my head. I feel so angry, he has no repect for my feelings at all. There are 2 children at home (12 & 9) 1 is his, and all we do is argue and fight in front of them. He swears, and has in the past been violent to the property and has kicked and spat at me.We split for a year, but then I stupidly went back. Now I don't know where to turn. I don't want to leave my home, as this is my kids home and I have pets that I can't abandon, as he wouldn't look after them. I have nowhere to go...... I have asked him to leave but he won't.I just can't face going into another year with him, as I just can't live with him any longer.(we went to Marriage Guidance last year, and he didn't take it seriously)

I have the weirdest problem imaginable. My LOVE for my boyfriend (I LOVE him like crazy!!!) prevents me from getting excited sexually. When he is just close to me, caresses me in sexual way, I get sooooo overwhelmed by my feelings and emotions that I cannot respond by arousal. I just scream how much I love him (which he doesn't find to be a turn on), and how much I want him to be happy, healthy and so on. I feel love in my lungs (like they are so full),and I don't feel any arousal in the lower parts of my body. We are together for 6 years. My history is that my best sex always was with men I didn't love at all (one night stands and short affairs). It started with my bf same way, untill I fell in love. What do I do? Is there any way to connect love and desire ???

A guy I work with has been doing a few things lately - he’s in a much higher position, but we work closely together b/c it’s a small company.

He always stares at me when I walk by his office, or when we walk by each other; he has tried to run into me in the file room so that we almost bumped into each other; he has pressed the side of his body against mine when we were leaning over a table to get food (although there was plenty of space); he has completely stopped talking to other people when I walked by, started staring and cut off his conversation.

The other night, everybody was out for drinks and he kept looking at me from a distance; when he sat next to us, he would try to hold my gaze for a really long time, and really staring into my eyes; I dropped my gaze, looked back up at him, and he was still staring and smiling (and this was with MY boss sitting between us!). He also made comments about how “innocent and sweet” I was, and when he left, he went around my boss and touched my arm for quite a bit when he said goodbye…

He is also married. Is this intense flirting, or is he just playing a game to boost his ego (I’m 10 years younger, in my 20s)?

He says that they are 'only friends' [barf] now, and that any romantic feelings he had for her he left in the past... The thing that bothers me is that their history together is still engraved in their memory, and I'm sure it crosses their mind, at least, on occasion. I have no problems with them considering themselves 'friends,' but I see no need for them to communicate at all. She is engaged, and he is remarried to me. She seems somewhat bubbly (flirty)--perhaps it is just her nature--but it bothers me. I don't get why two people previously involved in romantic relationships with no present connections (i.e., minor kids) have to stay in contact. I find it disrespectful. Am I being unreasonable to ask him to stop talking to her? Do any other women out there find this annoying?

Ok. My girlfriend and I have been dating for almost a month. She is amazing! Anyway...We are both in college and she lives off campus while I live on campus...Whenever we have alone time (after I kick my roommate out), we makeout and don't stop for like 3 or 4 hours...which I am not complaining. :D But sometimes she comes over two days in a row or three or four and we always do the same thing. As great as it is, it wears me out... What can I do? I don't want to be mean and tell her to stop or slow down because hell, we both LOVE it and each other...Suggestions? (I know you all are complete strangers but I want to know what others have done or would do)
Thanks
