the pupil dilates because the person arouses you,your attracted to them
but you cant tell if the person has brown eyes

It also happens when you're high. My brother and I always have quite dilated pupils - I think it might be because we're short sighted, but I've had quite a few people ask me if I've been smoking because of it.

It's true, just try it yourself, look in the mirror at your eyes whilst thinking about someone you really like.
Apparently larger pupils make us more attractive to members of the opposite sex. However, it's said that this occurs more in women then men. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Its because they are excited or arroused and therefore pupils dialating is one of many responses to this excitment.

far worse if u have light eyes like me, they are sea blue.. and women know i fancy them *blush*
it's to do with the chemical balance in your body is the short answer..
it's a sign, a tell tell one that someone knows you like them =/
