I have to change out of my hockey gear in a very open area with the other coaches and players (I'm a coach). One of the other coaches, a guy in his early, early twenties loves to tease and make me mad (you know, they act much like High School boys). Anyway, when he took his shirt off to change it, his boxers showed. I told him to pull his pants up and he did it! It surprised me like you wouldn't believe. But, he did add the comment, "I think some girl needs to get her own locker room."

Just thought I would ask what this could imply. Thanks!

His comment was all in good fun (you could tell by how he said it) as was mine (I just wanted to harass him).

Male sport?
Their Locker room?

I'm going to answer the second first. I don't have a choice. There are no locker rooms open for rec teams. No one has a choice. And I'm comfortable with it. I wear a jill and underarmor shirt, so I'm fine when they see me in that.

And male sport! Are you kidding me?? I'm the best goalie in our league right now (and the only female goalie).

From what you've described, it sounds like a guy who's decent with a good sense of humour, but it all depends on his body language and expression which of course I didn't see.

Probably without thinking he pulled up his pants in a reaction. Then he relized what he did and thought that made him look stupid for doing so. So then he made a rude comment implying you are a girl because all girl HATE that guys have thier pants to the ground.

It doesn't seem to imply anything. He just feels you were offended by what you saw when it probably wasn't intentional....so you need to dress in a different location. One thing women do is to read between the lines where guys are concerned...and guys don't have anything between them.

So, you saw him in his boxers. Big deal. At least he didnt
shake his genitals at you. As for you, you could always turn away, and give him privacy. In Japan, in the large metropolises like Tokyo, providing physical privacy is difficult. So, the residents show their respect for each others privacy by turning their attention other places. You could have done that out of respect to him.

Because most of the time girls are the one's who complain about this so he's telling you that you are a girl and that because of that you need your own locker room

Well you are in the male sport and their locker room. So what he is suggesting is you might consider the women locker room instead. If you are un confront-able.

That you should leave, or at least advert your eyes while he's changing. Bit creepy watching him change isn't it? Would you want guys watching you change? O.o
