Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk! Really, I like to chat a bunch and I find that after a few minutes with someone with an equally weird perspective helps drag me out of the blue Christmas. Last year I was pretty bummed out. Family health problems all the way across to the other side of the state. My job was too needy of me and I couldn't escape to be by the side of the man I have considered my hero since I was in my teens. A lady from Japan IM'ed me and asked why my answers seemed a bit off today. We talked, then laughed, then I was rolling of the computer chair with hurting sides. My father pulled through, but, the best thing is so did I. I talk to Reiri almost every week along with a Brazilian guy (no name), a Guam lady (no name), and a long list of others here from the States. Grab a pen pal and get to feeling groovy again! Come on! It won't hurt! Call somebody!

The more we do for others, the less we dwell on our own circumstances. Can you volunteer to take some food baskets to others in need, or bake some goodies to take to elderly neighbors or relatives? If that doesn't work, clean the yard, or the closets, or take a walk in the park. Anything that gets you up and out or thinking about something outside yourself. I find I ruminate on my problems only when I am sitting around doing nothing.

WOW, that's tough! Try to focus on things that aren't painful. Look for the "GOOD" in people and things. What ever you do, don't turn to alcohol or drugs to lessen the pain. Alcohol should only be used to enhance "positive" experiences. Drugs just shouldn't be used period! Good luck!

What makes you think you are not pushing it now...hun, each second we go by, each second we move on. It seems eternal, but keep having faith. God gives you test on how much you can take. We may bend, but we dont break. Your passing this test, every moment that goes by. Keep your head up, tomorrow's a new day. Surround yourself by positive thoughts and positive people in your life.

Try not to think about them right now...get out and celebrate with friends and family...be around happy people so you can catch the happiness....being down in the dumps will not help at all....
