Dating is a two sided thing. But we have to be sincere and define the relationship from the beginning. Having sex the very night you meet someone and having sex ten years later does not prove anything it doesn't show love or no love at all. Relationship is the science that comes without a definite formula. I like to have sex within a week of dating. All animals do and I am no different.

I believe that you can date without having sex as long as you are dating. I agree with you that there is more to a relationship than just sex. If the person you are dating is worth marrying, then waiting until after marriage for sex won't be a problem. If the person you are dating pushes for sex when you are not ready then it seems to me that they only want sex and not a real relationship.
If you really love the person you are dating and you want to find out if that person loves and respects you, tell them that you are waiting until after marriage to have sex.

this is merely too humorous. i think of that query is quite unfair. except you're somebody he can no longer stay without, then your dating is a ticking time-bomb. o.k., im going to be honest. dissimilar the time, adult males in basic terms desire to have a female chum for intercourse and exciting. although, you could no longer blame him. it rather is his human nature, in the different case you adult males would not be having those steamy make-out classes. Criticizing a guy for desirous to make like to woman is criticizing his human nature. So tsktsk. Plus see it from our factor. the comparable question could be divert to females. How long would you date a guy formerly he says "i admire you'? hmm..... isn't it like pressuring him into committing in the different case you are going to depart him and shop something of the time which you have left to discover the appropriate mate? so, ask your self. what's it which you quite desire out of this dating? you're 21. and hes 23. in basic terms u understand if he desires to get tied down.

it depends how old you are. It is different for every person/ situation. I have had two boyfriends where we had sex the first date. And my most recent boyfriend, we waited for a few months because we were really into each other and we wanted to make it special, not rush anything.

meems, You are absolutly correct ! First you need to get to know each other totaly, then only if you have fallen in love do you even consider anything more than holding hands and kissing ! This day and age sex can kill ! Pass this along,we need to stop adding to the number of people who are sick and dieing !!!

if it's just a date, probably a week , after that it's make up your mine time for her ,
I knew some one once, never dated, never had a kiss, never told her my feelings towards her, but i could see in her eyes, she knew exactly how i felt about her, she felt the same about me, life played a dirty trick on us and we never seen each other again she took my heart with her , it happened long ago,
If i was dating her i would wait until hell freezes over, i would have waited as long as she wanted ,

you can date them for as long as you like with out having sex because that is only a part of loving someone.
i think that's why a lot of relation ships fail coz they have sex straight away with out getting to know each other first,
so its not love they are feeling but lust and that can burn out

There is more to a relationship than sex, although sex does count for quite a bit in a relationship.
3 to 5 dates, or 1 month for me. Although it averages out to 2 weeks usually.
