i have a really close friend, we are always together and i like him, we have a really comfortable relationship like no personal space or anything, and it has always been like that between us, neither of us really cares when people touch us, i sit on his lap and he hugs me and stuff and we are just really affectionate, we always say we are married and stuff like that
however the whole time i have known him i have had a bf so he*my friend* and i never went any farther than just friends, well the bf that i had for 2 years broke up with me a month ago and i am really realizing how much i like my friend, the problem is that he got a gf about the time i lost my bf, he and his new gf are really odd together and everyone expects them to break up. i feel bad saying it but i want them to break up because i think he and i could be great together, when we are together i really want to kiss him, should we just go for it?

Don't go for it. Its an awful feeling... let him break up with her, so you two can start on a clean slate. There is a chance that he moved on, though, which totally sucks, but if you two have a great connection you'll end up together! Good luck!

Why don't u tell her that. I noe that may be the cruelest thing ever but if everyone says that they are bound to break up then i think that u 2 should sit down and have a serious convo with him

If he hasn't had a GF for 2 years and now has one right after you break up he obviously doesn't want to be anything more than just friends....sry just telling you the truth...believe me I know it hurts...stuff like that has happened to me too:-(

He didnt say anything when you had a BF so you have to w8 until he break up with her.maybe he doesnt feel the same as you do cuz if he did he could have told you when you were with your BF.w8 a while, cuz if you say you may even ruin your friendship with him for ever

No don't because you do not know if his gf really is into him or not, because you can be ending up hurting her feeling in the process which isn't really good.

i mean maybe if you know that she not really into him al all and hes not either then go for! but since it seems like you do not have to much info if they really like each or not i'll just hold out till they break up, or you KNOW then are not into eachother.

I would talk to him first and tell him you like him. He most likely feels the same but was tired of waiting for you so got a girl. If he doesn't feel the same then at least you will know without anything happening.

I think the next time you are alone with him you should just come right out & say "I want to kiss you". If he wants you too then he'll make the next move, if not then no harm done.

no, you shouldn't.. you should just wait until they break up before you go any farther in the relationship... if it was meant to be, then it will happen.. all in good time.

like they always say, a cheater is always a cheater. if you allow him to cheat on his gf, then it allows him to cheat on you if and when you guys get together. have him break up with her before anything happens between you two.

I think you should tell him what you feel maybe he thinks you are not interested in him you must tell him directly to the face.Dont be scared cause if you dont tell him you will suffer more.
