How about you start by telling your 'girlfriend' goodbye! You don't seem to be a man of much honesty, considering that you have a girlfriend and you are married. This might be the major cause of your divorce or just a small factor, but either way, if you are getting a divorce, its a terrible time to move into a brand-new serious relationship.
And either you lied to the girlfriend about being married, or she was accepting of that and helped break you up. (Sounds more like the 1st one) Either way, it isn't a relationship built on honesty.
I don't blame your wife for being difficult if this is what she had to put up with.
Your first step needs to be to tell the girlfriend goodbye and be honest with her. Next, you need to take a long look at who you are, and why you feel this need to be all over the place, and why you aren't faithful to your wife. You need to start dealing honestly and openly with yourself, and with her.
You're making a messy situation worse. Start by cleaning it up.

You're not supposed to have a girlfriend if you're still married. Separated is still married. This will never work out, because you MUST tell your girlfriend the truth, and then she will never be able to trust you.
Tell your girlfriend that you did the wrong thing and you want to right it. Tell her you should have divorced your wife before you got involved with her. Then do it. After you're divorced, wait a year (yes, a full year) before you get in touch with your girlfriend again.
If you don't believe me, ask Dr. Joy Browne.

Hey I know what u mean. I'm w/ someone and I'm married as well but my husband knows all about him. It's taking him forever to be ok w/ this divorce but I will continue to be patient until he's ready to stop hounding me. I know the one I'm w/ now will be patient cuz he loves me and w/ the love we share everything will work out for us when the time is right.
U need to be honest w/ the girl ur w/ if u want it to work w/ her, u can't love someone and hide things from them, ur suppose to tell them everything. Let her know and get that divorce on the ball!!

Level with both of these women. Tell girlfriend you will continiue your relationship with her once u are able to fully commit to her. Better make sure you get your priorities straight first, hate to see this marriage go down the drain too. Can't jump out of one marriage into another people need time to heal. If u do divorce consider time to heal it is essential.

Ouch! you started a relationship on a lie???? Not good my boy.
All you can do now is come clean and quick. The longer you wait the worse it will be. If your wife finds out about the girlfriend then you are toast.

You have a serious situation. You'd better tell the girlfriend right away, before she finds out from some other person. Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned, and you don't need two of them on your a$$.

Well you shouldn't be leaving your wife anyhow, and perhaps the reason your girlfriend doesn't know about you being married is because she has a thing called MORALs and would not have dated you had she known you were MARRIED,
