He's 17, im two years younger. We had a really good relationship but he's such a player and has a reputation for being a jerk. We broke up but he will IM me randomly and ask me if i would ever date his friend, or ask me about a guy he heard i hooked up with. He called me and asked me to hang out last weekend and we havent talked on the phone since we broke up. I thought he was sort of kidding so i didnt take him seriously and was just like yeah ok whatever. At school my friend brought up the fact that he called, and he was like no i was just messing with her, why would i. He has NO reason to dislike me. He found out i was at a party last night and showed up there, and was just like well dont get too trashed. His friend was saying he still brings me up a lot, but he acts rude to me one second, and then when i see him he just stares at me. What is this?

He wants to get back with you but his pride won't let him give in. But don't ask back out if you want to get with him. If hes not mature enough to tell you how he feels then you should leave him a lone.
Besides why would you want a jerk as a boyfriend any more. Think of him as unneeded baggage.
