Right now i have a 79% in math. My dad said i could get a blackbery pearl for my birthday but i picked out an ipod instead. He said I'd have to wait till Christmas for the phone. Now hes saying i have to get my grade up in math before I get the phone.!! Is that fair? Because he promised for Christmas that I could get it? Just want your opinion.

OK you know what. I ddid think of the kids who dont have anything. I gave tons of stuff to my schools Adopt-A-Family. So you cant say anything about that.

I think it is fair. You get a phone, an iPod, better grades, and a happy dad.

What your dad wants is better grades from you. By telling him that you want certain electronics, you are giving him an opportunity to make that real. You can either raise your grade for the benefit of knowledge or you can raise your grade with the incentive of getting a phone. Which do you prefer?

Besides, it'll be easier to raise your grade one the new semester starts.

maybe this christmas you should worry about the millins of kids who dont get anything for christmas, dont have homes, or even food. instead of wasting your time whining about your new toy you wont even like in a few weeks
