Hi Franni. The answer is yes and no and I say that because you can fall in love with an image or voice you see or hear. but those feeling can easily be dispersed as people can portray themselves in anyway when there not face to face, but you may find in reality they are completely different to what you were lead to believe. Another example is these so called superstars, people will fall head over hills in love with them and yet never get with in touching distance, then the media picks up on stories and it is possible their feelings are crushed leaving them devastated. Best wishes and a Merry Christmas. Peter

You can like them a whole lot really!!!!! But not Love them.
You don't really know them I'd say You would atleast meet them.... Oh what did we ever do before the internet came into everyones home! We actually met people!!!!!!
Until they put a lie detector program in chat rooms IM'S and If we could have a little wind on the internet so we could tell if someone's missed a couple of showers. and visit them to see how much filth they live in or how long the dishes have been in the sink. Or the ring around the tub and how long mold has been in the tub tile(LOL) Then I think we could maybe have 1/2 a chance at some truth about the person that we claim to Love so much that it makes us hurt so deeply inside when we can't (LOL) type to them Gee that's alot of missing mr and ms liar from Hell..... I'm A man so sure I'll always say I'm A nice guy well some are and well could it be some are liars... married with children, perverts?????
No Love over the internet maybe Like thank for your question

I don't think you can, no. You don't have a full image or the persons personality if you've never met, people can tell you anything to make you like them its what they do within situations that can make or break your opinion of that person. You can't fall In love with someone unless you know them really well, AND you might find whoever you're 'IN LOVE WITH' isn't who they say they.

there are many kinds of love but when you meet face to face you can read and sense alot more about a person..someone online or on the phone can tell you anything...would they say the same thing infront of family, mates or colleagues? first comes trust then love

I think that you can but only certain aspects of that person. The rest is likely to be what you want them to be. I would reserve judgment until I'd actaully met them. I mean, there may be no chemistry between you at all. Or it could be fantastic. You really don't know until you meet.

Yes, I think so. I think you can love someone without meeting face to face. I think it is pretty cool too.

You can love him fro his words. If he sent you a message and if he really knows how to write, then you think that he is the most romanticist and that he is the sweetest. But the only way to see do you really love him you should meet him and see him.The truth will tell you his eyes. But true love can be blind.

Not possible...You can be infatuated with the idea of the person but not in love if you have never met.
