we met at a work meeting, she works in a store 2 towns over. we didn't even really meet, we shared an elevator ride and i was smitten by her. i went to her job after about a week to tell her that i can't stop thinking of her and would like to take her out. she gave me her number, i called, we arranged a date. date day comes and she made other plans b/c she hadn't heard from me all day and just assumed i was blowing her off. we rescheduled for this past saturday, but she never called. i stoped by her job again today, this time with flowers. she wasn't there so i left the flowers. she texted me thanking me and said she would call, i still haven't heard from her. am i getting the run around here? what should i do?

im dating this guy for about 1 month and we plan on moving in together soon like in exactly 1 month. i got the apartment and everything ive known him for a year like as a friend(not a close friend) i think i made a mistake bc ive sign the lease papers and everything. (i know it was a dumb move)now he is acting weird like he lies about what time he has to work, and he doesnt want to be with me on cmas day. when he agreed to hang w me and my family earlier. i havent talked to him more than 5min on the phone in last 2 days. i dont know what going on. its like he doesnt have time for me. what do i do bc i know once we move 2gether it will not get better.i dont know if he still likes me or what. who doesnt want to hang w there gf on cmas day? help advice needed

Alot of times when i go to a store with my mom i see some pretty girls. Alot of times i see them starring at me maybe thats a really good sign or bad. I was just woundering how can I get her phone number or even give her my phone number. Alot of times i feel depressed when i miss out on some of these girls. I don't go for those model looking girls I just go for short, friendly, cute girls. Alot of times these types of girls are really shy so im even more scared of going up to them. Why? Why during Christmas? I hate when my cousins comeover. The always find 1 reason to make fun of me. I just watch 1 soap opera and they always laug at me. They say im horrible, suck, and they say im a loser. when i show em a new vid game i got, they make fun of it. I ignore them. Then theyre 5 year old cousin who also makes fun of me follows me. I dont want to tell him go away. I dont want him to cry. Whats a good way to tell him to leave me alone? plz no useless answers

Hi all,
Here is my dilema.
I got my first wedding band from my husband, then a few months later he bought me another one he liked. I thanked him and told him, that I will wear the furst one he put on my finger. He said if I want I can melt for something else. Someone told me something about suprstisious about having two wedding rings. Any info what that means and should I melt the second ring or should just keep it?

Alright I've been dating this girl for about a week now and it's been going good so far.

Shes been calling be everyday because I can't call her since her dad can't find out.

So today we didn't talk all day, she hasn't called me or anything. So what right? Well, for some reason just because of this I have gotten really paranoid and I start thinking about how she might be cheating. It's pathetic I know.

She doesn't have a cell phone so it's not like I could call and she would be the only one to answer.

I have a serious problem here, I mean look how pathetic it is!!! Is there anyway I can overcome this?

At first I was flattered that she would ask me to host dinner but then I realized it was to show off the house to family. After the first year, she has come late EVERY dinner since!!! Once 3 hours late with NO excuse, so I had to entertain the rest of her family. Today, I reminded her of the time -2 pm. She told me that she wasn't sure what time she would arrive since she is opening gifts with her other son's family & then going to visit her mother in the nursing home. I didn't know what to say except please call me when you are on your way to my home (I live 45 min away). I hung up & realized that she wouldn't be finished with my BIL until 2! Then she still has to visit her mother. I asked my hubby (her son) to call her & put a seed in her head to possibly visit grandma in the morning so she wouldn't be as late. I have other dinner guests that still have places to go after my home so dinner needs to be on time. Is it rude to start without her? Should I say anything else to her

ok so my boyfriend of two months, whom still hasn't kissed me, was acting odd he other day.

First, when we were outside (hes a very huggy lad) he started hugging me a bit, and then he would like put his hands on my shoulders and look into my eyes. i could tell he was nervy, but i don't know why. then he would just like let go.

Also, the next day, we were outside one of my classes (he always hugs me when we leave each other which is nice) he kinda looked in my eyes a bit before he did, then he hugged me really tight (not painfully so) and then he kinda hesitated to let go. He sorta kept his arm around me and looked at me a bit more, leaned foward like a centemeter, then hesitated again and let go.
then, at the end of the day, he hugged me twice. the first one was that same kind of tight hug as before, then the second was odd. he kinda brushed his cheek against mine a little and tilted his head kinda into my neck. he did the same hestitant eye gazing thing again and leaned foward.

I grew up in a Christian & Hindu household. I learned about both religions growing up. I took religion classes in college, to learn about different faiths.

Fast forward to today, I am in a loving relationship with a Muslim man, we're both in our mid 20's, and we're considering marriage one day.

I would never ask him to convert, in order to marry me. But...I have a feeling its just assumed that I would become a muslim in order to marry him, to make his mom happy. I dont think she would let us get married if I wasnt muslim to be honest.

I love him, and this whole religion thing is really throwing me for a loop!

Do I have to convert? I've been doing some research and it says that I dont have to convert, because muslim men can marry christians or jews, just not other religions.

So my research says one thing, and his mom says another. What do I do...

I have been going out with my girlfriend since the 7th grade, and we are both 23 years old now (we were 12-13 when we in the 7th grade) so we have been dating for 10 years.

I asked her out on January 6th (I passed her a note, asking her out, and she said yes. And I still have the note)

So my question is, would it be weird to ask her to marry me on January 6th? Or would it be sweet?

P.S. I have the note because I put it in a shoebox under my bed, and I found it when I was packing for college. So it's not like I framed it on my wall.
