Hi all,
Here is my dilema.
I got my first wedding band from my husband, then a few months later he bought me another one he liked. I thanked him and told him, that I will wear the furst one he put on my finger. He said if I want I can melt for something else. Someone told me something about suprstisious about having two wedding rings. Any info what that means and should I melt the second ring or should just keep it?
I woul be very gratefull for all your input.

What's the problem? You have two very nice pieces of jewelry from a man you love. I'm not seeing your concern. If its some superstition you're worried about, either decide not to believe it or rub some chicken bones together and live with it.

My wife is a nurse. She could only wear a plain gold band when working. So I bought her a gold band and an engagement solitaire with white gold narrow band to match. During the ceremony, I was supposed to say, "With these rings,"" but what came out was, "With these wings."

I think it must be something to do with a curse. You must destroy to first ring because it is now cursed. It will destroy the marriage if you don't.This dates back to the 15 hunders when a high priest gave a second ring to his wife and in three weeks she was dead. You cant have to rings.

i have 2 wedding rings... my husband bought a cheap one when we were really young, but he wanted me to have a better one... i liked the first one just fine. i now wear them both... plus a new anniversary band i got when we were married for 10 years

if you feel superstitious... keep the second one til your first anniversary and were it as an anniversary band.

good luck
