i do trust my girlfriend but she doesnt think i do.. we are far apart from each other and i know she trusts me, and i trust her but she cant see that.. i am jealous of the people that get to see her everyday, and im jealous of the fact that im not ne of those people, but i know she would never do anything to ruin wat we have together.. but i dont no how to prove i trust her...

i mean we love our parents coz they brought us up well and are endearing.....but would we hv loved them if they had been cruel and stolid kinda ppl? similarly we love someone for some reasons like beauty, good habbits, or other +ve traits....... does this shows we r all mean to some extent?

She has become non-verbal since being diagnosed with Picks disease. I am not sure whether she knows me or not. Her husband retired early to look after her. What would be a nice Christmas present? Not too extravagant.

Today is my husband's birthday and I didn't have the money to buy him anything and he is upset because he didn't get anything. Now I feel bad. I don't know what to do though. I can't buy him anything. He has to work tonight so we don't have a lot of time to spend with eachother. I want to be able to do something special for his birthday. I think my Mother-in-Law is giving me a necklace that I do not want. I really appreciate the thought, but I really don't want it. It is a Journey necklace (I think it's about 1/4 ct.) and it's the squiggle one. My husband wanted to get it for me before and he asked what size I would want...I told him the one ct. would be nice, but I didn't really want a smaller one. I know that sounds horrible...but he used to work in the jewelry business and I have a lot of stuff so I can be "picky" about what I get now. This pendant has 7 stones...can you imagine how TINY they are if all 7 add up to 1/4 ct.? One of my earrings is bigger than that...what do I do?

I feel like I sound really ungrateful and mean, but I'm honestly not that way. If I am going to wear something that is real diamonds I want to be able to see them and have others be able to see them...that’s all. And as I said before, I already have a lot of stuff so now I am a little more selective as to what I want.

I completely trust him, but I am a little bit jealous. Ok, so this is what happened. My boyfriends ex-girlfriend called him last night and said that there was this girl named Katy that liked him. He is kind of popular so I was used to this. So he told Katy that he loved me and wouldnt leave me but would be friends with her. Today she is going over there to hang out with him and his family and I am a bit jealous. I have a knot in my stomach. I know he wont do anything with her but this feeling wont go away. What do I do? How do I distract myself until she leaves his house? Any websites that can get my mind off it or anything? ANYTHING I could do? Please help!

Is it too tough to forget, is it too tough to be alone? tell me friends how do you feel like being alone? yes I admit that we share bits and pieces of our emotions in this virtual network and crave for virtual friends but is there any way out to stop the painful emo that sometimes I feel like about being so alone, some friends say go get some sweet girls, get to work but that too seems awful, I just want some peace of mind and cant find any, just how much time one takes to get out of this painful love loop? i met this girl in college 2 years ago, At that time i had a big crush on her and I still do, so i sent flowers on her birthday two years ago. , but i dint have my name on them she called me and thanked me for the flowers at that time, But nothing serious happened between us, we took a few courses together after we met, Recently she told me that she thinks i am cute, and that she had a crush on me the first day of class but she had to stop after learning that i was a Muslim. Couple day ago i was online and she asked me when my birthday was, i told her that it passed, and she asked me if i was going to send her flowers for her birthday, I was like how about red roses this time, and she told me that she likes Pink roses. .And she invited me to her b-day party which was yesterday, so I went and she was there with 3 other girls no boys, she was nice to me, then after the club, I was driving home and I text messaged her “saying text me when you get home please”. Then she responded an hour later saying that “I am home, thank you for being there, Gosh too bad we are different religions otherwise I would date u”. I didn’t ask her for a date or anything. Is she trying to tell me something? This was the only time we actually hung out, out of class and I had not seen her in a while. But we have always been keeping in touch over msn. What should i do? Her roses will be delivered today with a message saying
“I saw these roses and, even though they were beautiful, nothing can compare to the beauty i see in you”. Was sending the roses a mistake? Is she telling me to stay away from her by getting religion involved? I didn’t ask her if she would like to date me.

I have been best friends with a girl for the last few years, and have started liking her as more. I recently moved 80 miles away, she came to see me, we ended up kissing, then she said she needed time to think. i didnt hear from her until she invited me to stay with her for the weekend. we kissed and made out again. i asked her to be my girlfriend, she said she needed time to think. then she told me she couldn't be, as the distance is too far (hour train), and if it went wrong, she would lose a good friend. all i think now is that i'm not sure i want to be her friend, as it's strange now..i told her i need space to think about stuff...what should i do?

2008 is nearly upon us, and I like to challenge myself each new year to become a better person. During this next year, I'd like to focus on becoming a better wife. I'd say I'm a damn good wife already, but there is always room for improvement no matter how great you are... so help me figure out what qualities I should cultivate/work on during the upcoming year.

Which of these categories would you say is MOST important in order to be a great wife? (Not to the exclusion of all else, of course, but comparatively speaking...)

1) Physical: her appearance, her clothing/hair/makeup, being physically fit, etc.
2) Emotional: having a pleasant temperament, being considerate of his needs, not nagging/complaining, etc.
3) Social: being a good hostess, keeping the house up in case of visitors, mingling well with his coworkers/friends, etc.
4) Sexual: this one ought to be obvious, but just being available, willing, and enthusiastic about it. :)
5) Other - you suggest?

i am not regretting the fact that we broke up. couldnt have lived with him cs his behaviour was not tolerable. it was my decision.
then why do i feel so low? i am supposed to feel relieved and stronger. i dont. i feel like shutting everything off and everyone out around me. am i just jealous that his life started off again sooner than mine? three months back i was planning my life with him. and now hes getting hooked to someone else. is there really anything called love? if yes what is it worth? is it something you can put your faith into and bank on or is that just a myth? am i fooling myself if i think its important for me to love someone...cos everything can change and be over in a weeks time..so whats it worth??

...and I am a 33-year-old male. Sometimes its petty, sometimes its serious, but a lot of it is based on years of built up resentment. She in 52 and still acts like a child. we argue sometimes, literally for hours.
But my question isnt about what to do in these fights. I mentioned to my gf that I wont have any peace until she's dead (explaining I mean natural causes!). I mean, I am pretty close to her when we dont fight, and I dont wish anything bad to happen to her, but the more I think about it,. the more true it is. I will have no peace until my mom is in the cemetery. My gf looked at me like I said something evil. What do you think?

my boyfriend is a butcher and we have been together for 3 years, at the moment as it so close to xmas he is working 14 hours a day. last night i cooked dinner and waited for him to come home but instead i got a text message at 8 o'clock saying he had just finnished work and was going for a few drinks so i ate my dinner and left his in the oven to keep warm, but at midnight he still was not home so i went to bed. at 2 o'clock i heard him trying to get the key in the door and eventually when he did get in he fell over the coffee table and staggered upstairs, i told him to sleep in the spare room as he stank of booze. he was ment to start work at 5am this morning but woke up at 7am, i didnt offer him a lift to work as i normally do when hes late and i know he wont be home till gone 8 tonight, we are ment to be going to my mums christmas party tonight as she wont be here for christmas day and i just know after last night he will be knackered, im so angry! but should i be mad at him?

I've read a few responses to these questions, and most seem to be obvious "I met this guy but he just lays around all day" situations. I'm 30, college-educated, and have been out of work for about two months. I'm aggressively searching for work and am writing freelance as well.

I just moved to a new city and I don't know anybody. I still have a membership at a dating site and figured that I could meet someone in this city, but now I'm wondering if me being unemployed is going to label me as an automatic loser, even though I have my own place, car, etc.

It's lonely here, and I think getting out a bit would help me, but I'd rather not lie to a girl till I got a new position, yet on the other hand, I don't want to have to tell her right away "Oh yeah, I'm unemployed". Any thoughts?

How does it feel when you know you are going to be divorced in a week and wish inside heart that it doesn't happen (just for the heck of it.)
