Unconditional love is an ideal. In real life, of course we have conditions. Otherwise we'd be taken advantage of, we'd put up with horrible situations, be miserable all the time, etc. Maybe instead call them "standards".

It's not mean, it's common sense.

yes we do love our parents, but it is conditional, and is based on how we were treated, or perceived ourselves to be treated, when we were young. some people do fall in love for silly reasons such as looks or money, but true unconditional love?? get a dog, or a cat, they know how to love someone unconditionally. and yes, we are all mean to some extent.

excuse me we love somebody when we get love in return .if somebody is beautiful brainy etc it doesn't mean we love them .it is just we like them. dont get confused between love and like .similarly if par rent will love us we will love them but if they dont love us then they will not get love from us no doubt they have given birth to us.love is give and take policy. so you can say it is conditionally but reason is only love.
