I am a freshman in highschool and theres this girl i like alot. I met her in 7th grade and we became really good friends and texted alot and talked on the phone after school. Im almost positive she liked me then but i was too stupid to notice... in 8th grade i lost her number and never saw her around campus so i kind of forgot about her. Now in highschool she is in one of my classes and sits to the right of my desk. She looks at me like every 2 mins and i catch her and she turns her head away. I look at her alot too and sometimes she catches me and we hold eye contact for like 2 seconds and we both look away. Just so happends at lunch her table is right next to mine and she constantly looks over at me and so do her friends. I have only talked to her once this year and the 1st semester is almost up. Do you think she likes me?

I posted this earlier and many of the replies state that I sound "needy" because I am considering leaving my wife when I have asked for counselling, she says no there's no problem, I buy marriage books and read them / she does not. Her entire focus is on the kids !!!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AizNdSFgZJhKgxYotzxRUXDsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071205121022AAmTTSK

I love her and the kids, I'm very involved (coaching, school, church) with both her and the kids..... However, unless it has to do with the children, she rarely wants to interact. She goes to bed everynight around 9:00 p.m. because she is "exhausted" from the day. I work FT, help with laundry, dishes, and child care daily when I'm off work, so while I KNOW she has a hectic schedule, mine is no less full !!!

Yet - if I had a chance to be intimate (not just sex), but talk about hopes/dreams/etc... I would jump at it. But she is "tired". She works 2 days a week.

(continued ....)

I have thumbed through the Singles & Dating section for a while now, and I find it appalling how many young women, some of them just teenagers, are asking about guys "liking" them or not even though in many cases they've already had sex with them, sometimes several times. What the hell is wrong with this society? Why is it considered totally acceptable to have sex with guy after guy until you find the right one? Do these young girls really think life ought to be just one big episode of Sex in the City? Where are these girls' parents? It seems to me there is little morality left in this generation. Would appreciate serious feedback, Thanks.

My friend died 10 weeks ago in a car accident. I didn't attend her funeral because I found out after she died. Some of my other friends weren't able to attend because we're scattered everywhere. because I didn't attend I feel a bit of emptiness like a hole in my life.
I was thinking since we all a lot of time around Christmas time to have a memorial service so the rest of us who didn't get to attend can at least get the opportunity to say what we wanted to. The thing is I need her husband's permission and he's pretty unstable right now. His son and sister died with her in the accident and he was the driver. Is this memorial service a good idea?

my husband tells me that while im at work, one of his past ex's has found him through a website. as he proceeds to tell me that she used to have a thing for him as he sounds discussed that she even got in touch with him or found him at that matter, he tells me that she asked him for his number....and they talked on the phone while pretending not to know when he talked to her. my husband and i have been married only 2 years and we are sooo young. im not sure how to even look at this. i found texts to one of his past flings in high school telling her that she was the wisest women he knew not even 2 months ago....i dont know what to do what to think or even how to approach this situation. i have just kept my distance, slept on the couch and for some reason i just feel down about this still. i just thought as a husband, you dont except emails that ask for your number from girls that liked you in the past...i haven't given my number out to guys from my past...am i crazy????or just naive??

I feel that there is forgiveness - which you can do regardless if the person who has hurt you is sorry or not. It's more to unburden yourself of your anger and resentment toward them. To 'let it go' and move on.
Then there's reconciliation - or re-establishing a relationship of some sort with the wrongdoer. My understanding is that a healthy reconciliation is a two way street. The victim must be willing to forgive, and the wrongdoer must be willing to apologize and make amends.
My husband and therapist want me to reconcile with my mother in law, who has done more aggregious things to me then I can mention. I hung in there for a long time, then couldn't take anymore. She has not apologized in any way. She doesn't even talk to me, it's been about 3 1/2 years since she's talked to me. How can I reconcile? I feel this is morally wrong. The therapist thinks that she is not "the type" to apologize so I will have to suck it up and move forward. Is this not right?

As some of you know the sitiuation with my mom. (She is recovering from brain surgery, needs 24/7 supervision)
One of my sisters (There are 7 of us) acts like she cannot come around because of our mom's little dog. It is a Fiest i think. Anyhow she "claimed" it smelled awful up there (which it does not) because of that dog, she said i would come up here more if that "animal" was tied up outside something my mom would not do cause she loves that dog too much
She calls it an animal like it is a Tiger running around in the house. She is so sorry for being this way. Like i have said our mom wiped our butts and was always there when we needed her in good and bad times, now it is our turn.
She claims she was sick all day long yesterday from that dog and i swear to you all it does not stink. We bath it every other day.
I know this hurts our mom. My other sisters are not wanting the other sister that i am talking about to not come back.

Should i tell her if she is going to act like to

My husband is in Iraq on a 15 month tour. My mother-in-law called today to tell me she got an email from him and I also heard from a friend of his that he was on MySpace and left a comments to at least two of his friends. What bothers me is that he managed to have the time to email/comment them, but not his wife. I haven't heard one word from him in two weeks and have been worried. It makes me feel like his daughter and I aren't important enough to let us know he's okay or just ask how we're doing. This isn't the first time he's done this and I've talked to him about it before...obviously it didn't get through to him. I'm so hurt and furious I could just scream at him. Do you believe that I'm overreacting or would you be angry and hurt too?

I dated a guy for three weeks, when me and my fellow where on a break, who was known locally as a bit of a 'player'.He knew about my boyfriend, and kept saying in indirect ways that i should leave him!The chemistry was amazing, he told me he 'was falling for me' and, 'felt nervous'. I felt the same. One night we had a few much to drink and decided to become 'exclusive',if i left my guy only. I knew it was all a hard act he put on and was as soft as caramel inside.Unfortuantely, I kept talking about marriage settling down.(no,we never had sex)He told me he would give me a shout when he took me home but he never did.I went back with my boyfriend, Now I keep seeing him at my local fillin' station every day and night .Sometimes going in just for things like chewing-gum!! He flashes lights, signals, drives slow like he wants me to talk.well NO WAY! .It seems I see him everywhere i turn.Do you think he really has feelings, what does this mean?

how did you tell them?
have you ever been told youre a bad kisser?
did they change the way they kissed or did you change the way you kissed?

personally, my boyfriend and i have been together for 10 months... when we kiss its fine.. the cute sweet kisses are are good and everything.. even when it gets a little heavier kisses they are still good..
but when it gets into a REALLY heavy intense kiss... it turns me off. i go completely cold. there is no more heat in that kitchen. he gets rough and almost hurts my face.. (im a small girl and hes a big guy).. he has kind of a light mustash/beard and it pricks me (ive told him bought this and he shaves it more often)... there becomes a lot of spit... and too much tongue.
i love him very much... do i tell him this..? or do i just.. not get to the hot and heavy kisses....

what would you do?

I've heard that the age for statutory rape has changed from 18 to 17. Is it true that A seventeen year old can now date a 21 year old or older without a crime being committed?? Just curious.

A friend of mine is having trouble finding a woman, hes a great guy and a whiz at computers, he works with computers, spends allot of time on computers and knows exactly how they work.

He says that the reason he cant get a girlfriend is because he is so good with computers. He told me that as soon as he tells a Woman what he does for a living they instantly look disgusted or uninterested as if working with computers is a complete turn off.

I find this hard to believe, but is it true ladies?

I foolishly never pressed charges against the guy I know that I should have though, especially now but I was in the army at the time 2. This is the third time I caught glimpse of him but this (today) is the first time he saw me back and now I know for sure its him. (he was a "friend" of who took advantage one night thinking he could "sweet talk" me into finding him attractive)
Yes, my husband knows what happened but never met the guy, and he pcs'd before he had a chance to really look for this guy. I never thought I would have to see him again and I could totally forget it and now when I see him I get choked up and find it hard to breathe.
So, right now, my husband is deployed, will thankfully be coming home for R&R soon and I dont know if I should tell him that I have seen that guy or not. I wish I hadnt seen him. I really want to tell my husband though but I dont want him to worry but then if I run into the dirtbag especially with my husband and he tries to talk to me then what?

Quick question to people. Is it normal for guys to talk about the ex's a lot to their current girlfriend? Bc mine does all the time. Even if it is just saying something in passing, she comes up quite a bit. It just seems odd to me if he doesnt care about her or anything. I know they still talk and whatnot, so who cares about that. But it just seems odd to me about how much he talks about her... I dont care that much about her that I need to know they did this and that while they were dating or who she is currently dating. I have better things to talk about than her. Why doesnt he seem to get the hint everytime I change the subject. Man, he doesnt know crap about my ex's bc he told me not to talk about it... And we agreed to just let the past be past... Is it because he still thinks about her? Cares for her? Or was with her so long it is just habit? Anything someone can offer here would be great! Thanks!!

My friend (a guy) moved to New York from Jamaica and when he left two years ago he had a girlfriend. He is living here permanantly and they are still together but he doesn't seem as willing to continue the relationship as much as she is but his mom tells him repeatedly not to hurt her. She wants to come to New York but I'm not sure what the problem is. Do you guys think that will last?

I have recently found an online entry of my BF in a forum dated in July this year. In one line, it said that he is totally single & is looking forward to a new relationship.

The thing is - this entry to the forum is already closed which means no one can change anything or delete it.

During the period of July, we had a lot of misunderstandings because we thought each other were unfaithful as we saw each other online but we aren't online. (thanks to perhaps a technical error in the websites at that time)

Recently, as in less than a month, he always says to me that he loves me & once even said seriously that he is looking towards a future with me but to date, i have not even met any of his (close) friends & his family lives in NY. We in LA. His Granny just died in Sep & his mom wants only family members this Christmas.

He did take efforts to keep in touch with me very regularly & reassures me that he is not cheating.

Am i over-reacting?

All comments welcome. Thanks

crush on me. We've been friends for awhile and lately he's been making a lot more sexual innuendos with me and while I'm flattered, I'm like "what am I going to do with a guy that young?" He's a great guy though and has great insight, we really do have great conversations. I'm thinking could he really be a possibility? Just curious what your opinion might be...thank you!!
